This song involves a special mirror that's rumored to reveal the true form of whoever looks into it. However when Synthis sees his reflection, he's become a changeling. He then struggles with the idea that he could be a changeling who's perhaps forgotten how to change back. Or maybe the mirror is just tricking him and it's all an illusion. Maybe we'll never know. Just a fun theme I came up with while working on the instrumental. I really enjoy this song though, probably one of my favorites to work on so far. I really hope you enjoy it! The super awesome artwork was done by Taki.

Listening to these songs all these years later... The vocal work is incredible and now that I myself have started producing... I can see and feel the skill and time, and the effort that goes into these songs. Its incredible.

I like the change to changeling in the reflection when the bassier part pops in. Very clever use of art. And this song is just beautiful, very deep, yet mellow paced as well.

What I get from this is that Sam feels like he isn't who he is supposed to be and the changeling represents his fear of being looked down upon.

I thought the song was pretty good at first, but as soon as the bass dropped and the reflection revealed him as a changeling it just became infinitely cooler!
He sees a changeling in the mirror because his own identity is lost, he makes himself whatever others want of him to be.
I just noticed "The Mirror" is cracked. Maybe there is more than meets the eyes...

Song itself is amazing, but the visuals even more. The distortion in the reflection makes it look like the bass of the song makes the mirror vibrate, really cool stuff! :)

The concept sounds *exactly* like my fanfic, titled 'Mirrors' as a tribute to the Aviators song by the same name. It features a Changeling protagonist whose refection shows nothing but the façade she built to try to outrun her past. I can't actually listen to the song right now, but I mean to first thing in the morning. I just saw the thumbnail and couldn't resist typing this.
Having listened to the song, I have chills. I am hardly able to type I'm shaking so much! Amazing job, dude. That's a really awesome song man. Your voice is quite nice, and your instrumental is also very awesome. Drop was really nice and kept a good flow with the song. If i could provide a little suggestion, I think you should have made,

the main chorus. It sounds distinct from the verses. It's as if the mirror is talking about to you and responding. Having it as your chorus I feel would have added a bit of a battle to it, and let it be heard more, as it was only part of one verse and was absent from the rest.
But other then that small suggestion, i really enjoyed the song! Keep up the awesome work!
