@@travgames0113I'm so glad that someone in the industry understands it. While Patti Lupone likes to scream at people who film shows, as well as other people in the industry ranting about it, people fail to realise theatre isn't accessible to everyone, no matter how many tours you do, no matter how much you reduce the prices. Some people just don't have the time, money or resources to be able to get to the theatre and watch it live. Also I can't think of anyone that's watched a show that they fall in love with on RUclips and think "well, that's my lot then, I don't need to see it live now I've seen it on RUclips" most people watch bootlegs on RUclips, fall in love with the show and do what they can to go and experience it live. As a performer, I do agree with everyone when they say they know when people are filming, it is pretty obvious, but unless you're filming with flash or just obnoxiously causing a disturbance, I don't understand why people can't just acknowledge they're being filmed and then carry on with their performance. We've all been filmed during a show. I really dont understand the fuss about it.
