With "The Mandalorian & Grogu", two of the most popular characters in the Star Wars universe are returning to the big screen for the first time in 2026. The movie not only marks the return of the saga to the cinema after a break of several years, but also continues the story of Din Djarin and Grogu - also known as "Baby Yoda".

60 years old. Never married. No kids. Battled (& won) against colon cancer the whole year of 2025 but it was a tough fight I am still going thru via all the chemo in my body. Subconsciously this was one of the inspirations I used to get to this point. 3 months hopefully I will be able to see this in a movie theater. Odds are I will see this in a theater although tomorrow is not promised to anyone. ✌️♥️ & Understanding to all reading this. May the Force be with you.

Weathers appeared as Greef Karga in several episodes of the first season of the StarWars series, the Mandalorian.

I was right the first time: I'm definitely waiting until this hits Disney +. It just doesn't excite me enough to brave the hot, humid weather of Florida in late May to go to a cinema.

He is of the same race as Yoda. Yoda died at the age of 900. And, if anything, Grogu is more of a toddler. It would be weird if he had aged much at all since the end of the Mandalorian TV show
