for herblore, one of the cheaper and more afk methods is to make tars. mixing marrentill/tarromin/harralander into swamp tars is slower xp than making potions, but generally a lot cheaper. I think its worth it, I got to 96 herblore with marrentill tar.
A tip for doing summers garden is getting the plugin that alerts you when the setup is ready. There is also another 1 click method only requiring really 2 clicks to get a fruit, one on the gate and one on the tree!
Hey you missed the 100% AFK agility training method, with a 3 minute afk timer. Riding the blast furnace bike. It gives 6.5k xp /hr. Not much but it’s not bad for being able to afk 2-3 minutes.
@@j.j.r98 you can note the crabs there as well, so effectively the crabs become stackable, so with the never moving spot it technically wins. Though the timer would be lower per inventory, though idk what the max eels per spot is or time on an eel spot.
For Fishing, at lvl 91 I'm afking at Karambwans with the Fish Barrel from Tempoross. 4 1/2 minute inventories, 40k xp per hour , making a ton of side money AND the spot doesn't move!
A really good agility method is Edgeville monkey bars. It's not afk but it requires no attention if you have a foot pedal and set it up correctly. ~13.5k xp/hr
Better version of that is the shortcut in MM2 dungeon with low latency. Up to 44k xp/hr and its the same exact thing, no mouse movement, can use foot pedal.
Afk nmz - wear prayer gear for 20 min melee protection and preserve. Set timer on phone 19 min, Remote Desktop chrome, pot up. Max an account in a week.
In nmz it's very much possible to afk for more than twenty minutes. I've left for 42 minutes and still was training. This is due to the giant bosses somehow changing the position of the other bosses thus somehow resetting the afk timer. It is very much rng dependant though. I'm not sure what exactly causes it but when 2 of the giant bosses spawn in one of the 2 lanes I have setup that also tends to temporarily change the locations of the other bosses
The most AFK Construction method is solo Wintertodt with low HP. It isn't necessarily that it's AFK, but more so that it's natural training you get from doing something else that isn't that intensive. It's pretty awful XP rate-wise, usually somewhere between 9k and 13k per hour, but it's also one of the few profitable ways to train Construction and you're going to be at Wintertodt for 50-60 hours anyway for the cape so the experience adds up quickly. The last time I did that, I was doing solo Wintertodt anyway [I get really distracted/overwhelmed in the mass ones even though they're easier because of all the movement and hit splats] and ended up going from 50 to 73 Construction on the way to 99 Firemaking. I think it's worth it for an early account if you like solo Wintertodt - it takes ~25% longer but you save ~2 mil and 10 hours on the Construction grind, you get better rewards, and it actually feels much more like an actual boss solo [I find it more fun].
@@DeisFortuna You can't rock cake down. Low max hp is necessary for keeping Wintertodt hits down to 1 during the early levels of firemaking at wintertodt since damage scales to max hp and firemaking. With a regen bracelet and three cakes for safety, you can solo Wintertodt reliably at firemaking level 50 even with the games averaging ~40 minutes. As you get to higher levels in firemaking, you can get to higher levels in hitpoints by looking at online calcs to determine what max hp you can have with your firemaking while keeping the damage to 1 on standard hits (the ones you can't dodge). At firemaking level 50, you need to be at a max of hp level 12 I believe, but by 99 it goes up to ~25ish. It doesn't matter much though, since hp level 12 is enough wiggle room to complete Tree Gnome Village, The Grand Tree, Waterfall Quest, Priest in Peril, unlock Fossil Island, and the quests for Ardy Easy Diary to allow for Tree, equipping the rune axe/pickaxe, and Birdhouse runs if you only get hp experience from quest bosses. You need to get 43 Prayer and a decent magic level to make that happen, but 43 Prayer is relatively painless by picking up big bones in the wilderness for the altar as an ironman or money make using gold bracelet crafting for non-irons (you can afford the dragon bones for level 43 on a gilded altar on a house party world after only ~3 hours). Splashing magic is a slow but afk path to 45 magic, at which point you can switch to teleport to camelot for a quick 55 using the same moneymaking method for ~3-4 hours, then high alching rune arrows is currently profiting ~65 gp per cast for magic training, though even 35 magic should be high enough to take on the Tree Gnome Village and The Grand Tree quest bosses. From there, Irons should just do Wintertodt once they hit ~20 Construction through Daddy's Home > using swamp paste in Fishing Trawler since you want Angler's anyway and want the early game items from Wintertodt for account progression while non-irons should train Farming to ~70 through fruit tree runs and willow trees (cheap), don't worry about herblore after getting it to like level 30 since the high level herb prices are not crushing the low level herb prices for once, then get Mining/Fishing/Crafting/Woodcutting as high as you want. On my current account, I'm about to start Wintertodt with 41 Attack, 30 Strength, 62 Magic, 52 Prayer, 12 hp, 71 Farming, 46 Herblore, 74 Crafting, 82 Fishing (did Tempoross, which gives some afk construction as well from repairing totems/masts), 70 Agility, 75 Woodcutting (banked teaks on Fossil Island, which is why I got 70 Agility), and 85 Mining (Motherlode, then banking iron ore in Mining Guild until I got combined gloves, then back to Motherlode to 85). 74 Crafting took ages but was afk and got me the money to afford the farming, herblore, prayer, magic, dragon axe, dragon harpoon, and regen bracelet, the fishing and woodcutting levels let me afford a dragon pickaxe, I've calced the mining I've done plus the money from 99 Firemaking to be able to get me to 99 Construction off Mahogany Homes Adept contracts not including Construction xp from 99 FM, so I'm calcing I should have ~6 mil left over after 99 Construction without having to sell off my Dragon Harpoon, Dragon Pickaxe, Regen Bracelet, full Graceful, or my Gnome Scarf and Tuxedo boots I bought for the fun of it on Christmas.
with 99 pray and full prayer gear you can afk task in the catacombs for around 9 minutes! 1 time I went to the store and came back and I was still hitting them
OSRS is always on my 2nd screen, I find it quite annoying if I have to fully focus on it. Just recently maxed with afk/profitable methods, only took me 6 years.
idk if I would call todd afk. sorceress garden is amazing xp. Takes 8392 sq'rks to go from 65 to 99 thieving. It does slow down later on, so realistically you'd want to go to 82 or 85 to do profit pickpockets. or something. which takes far less, obviously. 1874, which you could nab very quickly as long as you have graceful and staminas. You do have to process them into juice still, but that's the easy part.

I guess that's not really afk cause youre still sitting there clicking but its definitely less attention than barb fishing or priff.
Afk construction xp: NMZ only with bosses that drop big bones with a bone crusher. Check every 7 or 8 minutes for long/curved on the ground, sip an pot or two, and afk again Voila, AFK construction xp. 😁
I find anglers more afk than infernal eels. It seems like the eel spot moves more often. Plus you are going to fill up your inventory faster than anglers.
Sorry but in OSRS do you level something hunting ? Or hunting is something that no one do because i'm between play tibia or osrs but every single video about osrs is about afk every think or killing a boss and i don't understand what is the fun. for example in tibia you have to kill mob in zone to level up since tibia the char have level and skills magic, sword etc you go and hunt in a zone to get better gear, gold and level. People keep saying that shooting stars mining is oh so AFK but I just cannot see it. The act of having to scout for them, pay attention to the stage degradations (which are notably quicker at first but do slow down towards the end) and the fact you can only realistically do it every hour or so for a bit of time is absolutely no AFK/low focus in my books. It's too variant and random with too many bursts of having to pay attention for it to be viable IMO.
I would argue that chaos alter prayer training is more afk because of the 50% chance of not using bones. This is especially true if you don't care about pkers
I like afk skills so i can play other games while i get gains ya feel. Also part of the herblore grind for afk herblore gains you can also make compost potions.
I'm gonna have to disagree with farming being an afk skill strictly because you don't technically afk. You plant whatever you're planting, then wait for it to grow. All of the skilling involved occurs during the planting and harvesting, which isn't super afk.
Wish it was a countdown instead of count up. I'd like to see what I'm looking for first instead of waiting for it til the end and needing to watch the video part by part skill by skill backwards with specific timestamps and everything to see it go from best to worst I stead of worst to best. I am autistic tho and my brain hurts now
Shooting stars are pretty mediocre did them for quite a while as i hated sandstone etc, nice bonus if you're first to find. However need a fc for them to be consistent and still not that good xp. Only good thing is afk and materials you can trade in for double ores or something similar for 20mins, might even be double xp just forget.

Afking Karams with barrel is up there with most afk activities in the entire game. I did it from 80-99 and ended up with like 175k karambwans
It's like 3 minutes and 20 seconds if you count the run from the fairy ring (after clicking the fishing spot).

one thing to mention about herblore, you can do some really good money makers that arent exactly afk but you can get passive xp by making gp.

Karambwams are great if you have unlocked the fish barrel. I can AFK for 4 min and have a 25 sec reset consistently. Very satisfying cycle for me.

People keep saying that shooting stars mining is oh so AFK but I just cannot see it. The act of having to scout for them, pay attention to the stage degradations (which are notably quicker at first but do slow down towards the end) and the fact you can only realistically do it every hour or so for a bit of time is absolutely no AFK/low focus in my books. It's too variant and random with too many bursts of having to pay attention for it to be viable IMO.

You can train Tarromin/Harralandar tars for really cheap compared to the other potions. and very good xp for how cheap and afk it is
I would argue that chaos alter prayer training is more afk because of the 50% chance of not using bones. This is especially true if you don't care about pkers

I'm gonna have to disagree with farming being an afk skill strictly because you don't technically afk. You plant whatever you're planting, then wait for it to grow. All of the skilling involved occurs during the planting and harvesting, which isn't super afk.

Wish it was a countdown instead of count up. I'd like to see what I'm looking for first instead of waiting for it til the end and needing to watch the video part by part skill by skill backwards with specific timestamps and everything to see it go from best to worst I stead of worst to best. Shooting stars are pretty mediocre did them for quite a while as i hated sandstone etc, nice bonus if you're first to find. However need a fc for them to be consistent and still not that good xp. Only good thing is afk and materials you can trade in for double ores or something similar for 20mins, might even be double xp just forget.
