DIY Green Screen Experiment // Easy to build yourself!

  • This summer I've been experimenting with green screen puppetry for my work. I've produced six short videos on various topics, to help those videos be more interesting I made my own green screen backdrop. It was surprisingly easy!

      I lucked out with that paint for sure! I'm tempted to buy more just to keep in are they stop selling it. I can't imagine many folks would choose to have it on a bedroom wall!

    Nice vid. Shows that 'chromakey' is not some professional secret :-)

      Cheers. Things have come a long way, I remember working on a chromakey set 15 years ago and it was all so tricky to get right. I was amazed that this worked so well so easily.

      @@Hellyers I don't know what software you use, but there is a program called Blender which is a powerful program and completely free. It has quite a steep learning curve, but there are a ton of tools to help with compositing, etc. I started using it on the summer series vids I did this year.
