    Hey, Hannah, I stumbled on your videos while researching print on demand. I hold an MBA and spent over 15 years behind a desk until I became tired of the workload, so now I'm working for Purple Cow Manufacturing, producing all the milk and by-products for Meijer. The company is great, but I've always had an entrepreneurial mindset and I am very much ready for a side hustle. I was curious whether you have any videos covering how you handle business logistics such as taxes, etc. for Michigan.

    Hi Hannah. Loving the content! Question, do you know a good software one could use to upload their designs to multiple platforms, IE, if I was selling on my shopify, as well as etsy, and amazon? I would love to find one software that would make it easy to upload my design(s) to all three then edit as needed, kind of cutting down my listing times.

    • @hannahebeling

      It definitely depends on what type of research and products I did for the day, but typically it was a few hours a day those first months.

  • @LoganArtFarm
    @LoganArtFarm 5 месяцев назад

    Hannah, when you say you upload 10 designs a day, and end up with 1000’s of designed on your shop, do you keep all/most of them on the shop? Does your shop literally have 10k designs? Trying to figure out if “the more the better” or keeping it shop “tidy” with only a certain number is best. TY!

    About how many designs do you have on Etsy now? Whats your timeline for not renewing an item to continue to be sold on Etsy? I'm just starting the ETSY process and wonder how sellers like yourself work these things.
    I'm in Japan and we JUST got the ability to have Etsy Shops again. (We couldn't make new shops since 2020 I think because of new fraud laws. I think Etsy just gave up because PayPal Japan became more difficult. Now its a go with Payoneer).
    Aside:
    Also I'm planning on applying for Amazon but REALLY need to get the paperwork right. My issues are that I have an apostrophe in my name that doesnt appear on some paperwork (because Japanese businesses and officialdom don't always have the ability to use them), addresses etc are in Japanese, and people in Japan arent required to give their identity number for IRS paperwork. There is a section for it but I worry that AI will reject me on any one of these not matching. BUT. I guess i have to try and see 😅.

    Hello, I'm seeking advice on increasing my 'Published Designs' count and the number of 'Products Submitted Today' on Amazon Merch on Demand. For over three months now, I've been regularly updating my product selections and regions, but I've been limited to only four changes a day because changing to a new design seems to decrease my 'Product Potential' score. Currently, I'm constrained to a maximum of 10 designs and can only submit 4 products per day. How can I increase these limits? Do I need to keep submitting four products daily until my 'Product Potential' reaches 660, or should I focus on continually introducing new designs regardless of the 'Product Potential' score? I would really appreciate your guidance on this.

    Hello Hannah. I thank you for your content. I was wondering if you look at people's stores and give an audit. I ask because you have a lot of information that other people don't have. For example, you're the one and only that says to have a general store. I have a general store and I've had someone look at it. And they're telling me that's my problem. I have a general store. I'm just curious if you help out with audits? Thanks 😊

    How long would you say on average it takes to make that first sale? My shop has been open for 4 weeks, I post 1 listing a day and have done all of the Etsy handbook steps to open the store but only getting direct views which I suspect are bots. Is that normal for a new store, or is January a slow month? I am trying to figure out if I should pivot and change everything up or upload more everyday.

  • @themuffingirl8747

    Hey I could really use your advice on something - would it be possible to create a brand focused around a fandom without actually infringing on copyright?
    For example if it was Star Wars, have lots space and planet themed shirts and sayings like “No Bad Feelings” or “This Princess carries a gun” and maybe a separate shirt with a graphic of a bunch of fuzz balls laughing (for the line “laugh it up, Fuzzball”)?
    Because none of those things are technically copyrighted but it would be obvious what I was copying so would I get in trouble for that?
    Also if I had a youtube channel that made star wars edits and then used that channel to promote my products it would be even easier to accuse me of using their story to sell my stuff, but technically it’s still my designs and I didn’t explicitly copy or steal anything so would it be okay?
    Thanks for your time, and I look forward to hearing what you think!

    • @MyJooniverse
      @MyJooniverse 11 месяцев назад +1

      Even though they're your designs, you're still relying on the reputation of Star Wars to make sales. Disney is very litigious, so I'd be very careful with it

    • @hannahebeling
      @hannahebeling  11 месяцев назад

      Like the above comment stated, it’s very risky to do anything that would be profiting off the recognition of another brand. I would personally stay away.

    • @themuffingirl8747
      @themuffingirl8747 11 месяцев назад

      @@hannahebeling That makes sense. What if it was something like Kung Fu Panda? (Non Disney) For example I would use lots of panda and maybe tiger images (since it’s animals they can’t own that, but would I get in trouble if I specifically grouped a tiger and Panda together because they’re main characters even though I’m not using actual character images?) As well as bowls with noodles, chopsticks, and dumplings (a main prop used in the movies) and maybe sayings like “I’m a Warrior” or “Noodles hold the Secret to Life”
      which would be obvious references to the movies but are pretty generic so it wouldn’t be infringing, right?
      Since I technically could...if I was to risk it what would be the possible consequences? (Because if it’s not really infringing and I’m very careful with the designs I use it could be very beneficial to me so it seems worth it but I don’t really know what’s at stake. Would it just be a risk of my shop getting shut down or would I have to pay all the money I earned to the copyright holders or could it involve a court case? I’m kinda confused. )
      Thanks for responding back to me! 😊
