I am so thankful for this Godly man getting this message out that “Faith” must be continueous. Salvation is based upon continuing in faith. It is not based upon a”Once Upon A Time” confession. I see this error so much demonstrated, even in close friends and family.

    Negative thoughts:
Every time negative thoughts come to mind, clap your hands and say, I worship You, Father God, creator of the universe.
The negative thoughts will eventually disappear.
Whenever we express our love for God through praise and worship, we open up a channel through which His love flows into our heart. We invite His presence to come into our lives in a powerful way that, in the process, breaks down the strongholds of negative emotions.

  • @kevintaylor1042

God wants us to value Him more than anything He can give us. God wants us to love Him enough to simply be with Him. To seek Him as our greatest gift. Just because He is.
When we go to God just to "be" with Him, He is our reward. God is waiting for us to seek His presence (Psalm 14:2).
When you love God and want to be with Him simply because He is, one of the things that happens is that the joy of God rises in you like a spring of pure water. It happens every time you praise Him.

Absolutely adore this man and his wonderful teaching style. He lived his faith with so much integrity and I honour him for it. However I disagree with his take on eternal security. One can believe in the eternal security of the regenerated person without being a calvinist.
I do not see evidence that a person can become unregenerated or unsealed, but rather that a believer can grieve and quench the Spirit within them. Doesnt mean the Spirit ever leaves, and if the Spirit is sealed till our day if redemption, then unless a Spirit filled person goes to hell, then it is safe to assume they are safe. There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ. Sins interupt fellowship with God, not union. And as John said, they went out from us bc they were not of us. For if they were of us, they would have stayed with us.
One does not receive a new heart and then give it back demanding the old heart back. The old has past away, behold the new has come. And why would God even give such a precious gift as the Holy Spirit to those He knows full well doesnt actually believe as to be saved cimpletely? That contradicts Hebrews.
And yes, the bible does speak of saved, being saved and waiting to be saved, but that is best looked at as saved(justified), being saved(sanctified) and to be saved (glorified).
Those who are justified will be glorified according to Romans 8.
God has placed His seal of ownership on us and we are His property now(2 Corinthians 2). He is not going to let us go. How we live matters regardless of our security of salvation bc the race is about rewards also. And our life as a living sacrifice is but a reasonable service for what Christ has done.
A true born again believer will stay a true born again believer bc Jesus is who He says He is.

eternally "sealed" is not words I find in the Bible - how do you explain the many verses in the New Testament that warn against it which include
Matthew 24:13: "the one who stands firm to the end will be saved ":...... conditional on standing firm to the end ..Jesus say this twice, its also in Matthew 10:22
Rev 2:10 - "Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life"......conditional on remaining faithful until the end
Its a promise He will not break but us conditional on us playing our part - believing in him, loving him and remaining faithful to him to the end
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‬‬“If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning. It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.”
Turn their backs ! How clear can it be than those who escaped but then are again entangled .......
Greek action words have a present but also continuing expectation which is lost in English translation
ask ...carry on asking.......believe carry on believing, faith - remaining faithful
Jn3:16 whoever believes in him ....will be saved - future
more accurately whoever carries on believing ...will be saved
Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith(Greek: remaining faithful/faithfulness). And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand
Rev 2:10 - "Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life"
......a promise if we remaining faithful until the end
And concerning Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Sarah why do you think the writer to hebrews says in
Hebrews 11:13. "All these people were still living by faith when they died. "
Matthew 10:22 "the one who stands firm to the end will be saved ":
Its a promise - and yes there is assurance of salvation - conditional on us playing our part but as with the parable of teh sheep and goats - not everyone will be saved

@@DavidPawsonMinistry I appreciate your response and I am familiar with all the proof texts as I held the position for most of my life. I am sure you know of all the text that I can use to talk about eternal security also.
When we are regenerated by the Holy Spirit something happens that is not done by human hands. A dead Spirit is made alive. How does one undo a work of the Spirit by human hands or deeds? Which sin is the one that unregenerates a person? Where are the verses that speak to a member of the Body of Christ being unsealed? You might say unbelief is the sin that cuts us off, but how does one believe to the point of being regenerated, experiencing spiritual birth, Baptized into the Body of Christ, and then just one day decides that all of that wasnt true? Ive yet to meet such a person. Also, can regeneration happen twice, 3, 4 ,5 times in the life of a person?
Again, does this seem logical? God knowing all things, would He give the Holy Spirit to someone who hasnt really believed all the way? To me that just seems weird. Why say eternal life if it is only but temporary until you sin enough for God to leave you? Why does the Scriptures say that the Holy Spirit is the guarantee of our inheritance, yet He is not really the guarantee at all, our behaviour is, if it's good that is.
As for the verses in Matthew, Im of the understanding that those verses apply to those who will be part of the tribulation. I dont believe people in the tribulation will actually be sealed with the Spirit as the Body of Christ is today, but that is a different discussion.
If you would be willing, you could read the article that late pastor Jack kelly wrote on his website, Grace thru faith, on the subject of eternal security. As I hold the same view. It just seems unneccessary for me to write everything here if it is already so neatly set out in an article.
I would really love to hear your feedback.
Again, I appreciate your reply and looking forward to any future correspondence.
      Blessings!

    • @DavidPawsonMinistry
      @DavidPawsonMinistry  Год назад

I will read the article but to address some of your points
How does one undo the work of the Holy Spirit ?
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭NIV‬‬ states that one can turn your back...... after ....... - It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness - how can one know the way of righteousness unless the Holy Spirt had revealed it to you
Matthew 12 and 31 warned against blasphemy against the Holy Spirit - I suggest to you when persuaded by the Holy Spirit’s power of the truth of the Gospel and Christ’s claim to be God’s Son and our Saviour then nonetheless later reject it .............and yes sadly I have known such people. How why they do it I know not
Its not who we know or don't know neither is it about logic - its about what God word states and especially Hebrews 10 which states that if we deliberately continue in sin "after" receiving the knowledge of truth - no sacrifice is left
How do we receive the knowledge of truth but through the work of the Holy Spirit within us?
Where does it say the Holy Spirit is our "guarantee of inheritance" when Jesus says those who stand firm until the end ..."will be saved"
In Matthew 24 could be a warning to his followers about the future - but what future ? The fall of Judah in AD70, His second coming ?
Matthew 10 It's not about the future - he is sending out the 12 and warning them to be on their guard. Why would he say that to the 12?.... we know Judas did not stand firm
To accept your position I would have to reject many passages of Gods word,
      - Even the demons believe, .......will they be forgiven ?
The tribulation is another matter - but why would Jesus spare christians the great tribulation when he has not spared his own, through out history? what he has done is to grant his strength and promise to be with them at all times
Revelation is open to interpretation who has the right interpretation ......well we will know when it happens but until then I will base my faith on Gods word - the whole word
I will read Jack "Kelley" - will you will read Davids book OSAS? which is free to read online
      www.davidpawson.co.uk/view-pdf/?elementid=8621
Are you also aware that it is alleged Jack Kelley back tracked on his position on sin ?

    • @DavidPawsonMinistry
      @DavidPawsonMinistry  Год назад

Jack Kelley in answering Hebrews 10:26 states
      A. Let’s review the concept of OSAS. The Bible clearly tells us that at the moment we first believed, we were given the seal of the Holy Spirit as a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance. This confirms that our salvation is assured (Ephes. 1:13-14). Paul confirmed this in 2 Cor. 1:21-22 adding that God has taken ownership of us and it is He who makes us stand firm in Christ. The Bible also says that we’re saved by faith alone, not by works (Ephes. 2:8-9). So the basis for our salvation is belief, not behavior, and it’s guaranteed right from the start. This is possible because all the sins of our life were forgiven at the cross (Colossians 2:13-14)
"All our sins were forgiven on the cross"
the teachings of the disciples in Acts - "repent and be baptised for the forgiveness of sins" - Jesus died for our sin but forgiveness comes through a conscious action of repentance - and its not about works - its about responding and turning away for our old ways and accepting Jesus
Ephes 1:13-14 - talks about the seal -......but cannot all seals can be broken ?
Ephes2:8-9 - to understand this let us firstly acknowledge the limitation of translations
In English, we know that the present tense describes something happening right now. It informs us of the time when an action takes place.
In Greek, however, the present tense primarily tells us the type of action. The Greek present tense indicates continued action, something that happens continually or repeatedly, or something that is in the process of happening. If you say, for instance, “The sun is rising,” you are talking about a process happening over a period of time, not an instantaneous event. The Greeks use the present tense to express this kind of continued action.
Ephes 2:8-9 is Gods Word and to a greek to whom the book was written - - We are saved by grace through remaining faithful, the basis for salvation is remaining faithful, it is not about works but it is about behaviour because faith without works is dead
There are two interpretations of all of these verses - its easier to accept OSAS if you ignore the meaning of the Greek, if you accept Greek action words express continuation I suggest OSAS falls apart
Did Jack Kelley not later back track on his teaching ?

    • @AnniEast
      @AnniEast Год назад

@@DavidPawsonMinistry again, I am aware of the verses used to prove your position, and just as you feel you would have to ignore so many verses if you were to adopt my position, in the same way I feel I would have to ignore so many verses to again adopt yours.
And the Holy Spirit is given as a guarantee, Read Ephesians.
Every person has to work these things out in their own mind, and if any doctrine leads them to behave contrary to the knowledge of Christ, they would have to be willing to give it up, regardless of how commited they were to it.
It is by the work of Christ alone that we are saved. If one has been sealed one has received a new heart, a dead Spirit was made alive. You were restored.
Have you heard of one that has received a new heart in a transplant and then goes back to the dr to say they would like their old sickly heart back, please? And would a dr even give a new heart to a patient he knows 100% would not want it in the future? How can we seperate God's foreknowledge from anything?
And of course it is about logic also, we are called to love God with our whole understanding too, not just our hearts.
They are many that profess Christ, there are many who dwell in circles where they see the works of the Holy Spirit, even benefiting from the blessings that come from those works, yet if they do not believe that the works of Christ on the cross is sufficient for their salvation, then there is nothing left that could possibly convince them otherwise. What else is there to be saved by? If you reject that you are beyond help.
I believe that the bible teaches that the Body of Christ was a mystery. Prior to the out pouring of the Holy Spirit the whole concept of Christ in us was not known, Paul only years later explained it more clearly in his writings. So if the Body of Christ was a mystery hidden in God, yet to be revealed, why would Jesus be talking as if anyone would understand what it meant?
I think it is extremely important to know who the text is talking to and talking about. No one prior to pentacost was ever sealed with the Spirit.
And as far as I know Jack Kelly's wife upholds his website and if his position changed she would have removed content that does not correspond with the beliefs he held at the end.

Because GOD works in His Immortality and Omniscience.
GOD already knew who believed when the gospel was preached. GOD already knew before the world existed.
Those who have been known by GOD, they are called to hear the message of the gospel, and those who believe in the message of the gospel, those who are sealed with the HOLY SPIRIT, and given the Faith of Salvation in JESUS CHRIST.
Believe in the gospel message then sealed with the HOLY SPIRIT and have the Faith of Salvation in JESUS CHRIST.
Believe in the gospel message, then repentance occurs. Repentance is what it means to be born of water. Water baptism is a sign of repentance.
Sealed with the HOLY SPIRIT is being born from the SPIRIT. The human heart is born again, because the HOLY SPIRIT is in the human conscience saved by GOD.

Weep because if you believe a believer can end in hell then weep over that poor man . If you believe that he can be renewed to salvation , preach salvation for him to be re-born , re - adopted , re- sealed by the Holy spirit , re- justified, re- reconciled ect .
I would tell him that if He truly believed and was born again by God then rejoice that your name is written in the book of life . I would encourage Him that what ever He is going through he need not fear or need not sin in this way . That nothing can separate him from God .That he is free to love and serve God and the body of Christ . If there is restoration needed or forgiveness needed then seek reconciliation, I,d encourage him that he needs ' fellowship ' restored with God and not justification . They are indeed declared by the Holy Spirit accordance to His likes, but they do not contradicts to His Word again. For instance the Gift of teaching might be given to both men and woman but it should be used inline with the scripture as to woman, Paul said i do not permit a woman to teach(exercising Authority over men) as Adam was created first then Eve. Therefore woman can have gift of teaching but they are allowed to use that gift not in the presence of men"Male".

@@danielbabson9782 OK - I hold David in the highest regard and I can confirm David believed Isaac was not a child but a fully mature man possibly in his 30's .
David is no longer with us to give his reason - permit me to offer an incomplete version of what David believed
Firstly the Bible does not say Israel was in his 30's but it also does not give a time nor his age ....but it does give us some insight
Whilst we refer to the sacrifice of a lamb - the bible talks of a fully mature lamb - 1 year old, at 1 year of age a lamb is fully mature and can father her lambs - so strictly speaking the sacrifice is to be a ram/ a mature lamb ...... it is still called a lamb so that's not a contradiction but it is required to sacrifice a mature lamb, not a baby
Abraham knew that and If God required Isaac to be ''the sacrifice'', we can deduce , Isaac would be at least a mature older boy, not a young child. To be the sacrifice he would have been required to have been sexually mature, and if sexually mature he would have been strong enough to have resisted a man who would have been well over 100 years of age, but Isaac made no attempt to run away
God promised Abraham a son when Abraham was 99 years of age and Rebekah was 89 years of age at that time..
After this event, Gen 22 :19 says Abraham returned to his servants and they set off together for Beersheba
Now when Genesis was written there were no chapters and verses, so Genesis Chapter 23 is a continuation of Genesis 22 with no division
If Gen 22:20 is put to one side for one moment
      - it has nothing to do with the event .....nor does it have anything to with Genesis 23:1, its just confirmation that it was not until some time later Abraham ws told .........
....... if for one moment I translated Gen 22:20 ....'' it was not until sometime later that Abraham was told .....
The very next thing we are told is that Sarah dies aged 127 - Israel would have been 37 when she died
The words ''some time later'' causes us to believe Sarah died 'some time later', but if Gen 22:20 is an aside, the very next thing that happens after the event is Sarah dies aged 127 ......David believed Sarah died a sort time after the event, may be a few years, Isaac could well have been in his 30's when Abraham loaded his Donkey
If we now go to the New Testament - Jesus was 33 when he was offered as a sacrifice for our sins - why 33? (I cannot answer that)
Abraham reasoned with God that he could raise the dead, how did Abraham know that ?.........
God raised Jesus on the 3rd day
Hebrews 11:19 I quote NIV - ''Abraham reason that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from he dead ''
Ill leave you to decide what you believe, but to be clear and David would be the first to say this - the Bible does not give Isaacs age,
      - Isaac being in his 30's is just what David believed

Why do You not save everybody? I find it always better to let God answer these questions through scripture, instead of turning to Clavin, Pawson, or Macarthur. And whatever it says, we should simply submit to it. Don't be like Eve and be tempted to question God's justice. So, what does God reveal to us? As it turns out, this type of question was around from the very beginning.
Romans 9:11 though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad-in order that God’s purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of him who calls- 12 she was told, “The older will serve the younger.” 13 As it is written, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”
14 What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God’s part? By no means! 15 For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” 16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” 18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.
19 You will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?” 20 But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?” 21 Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use? 22 What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23 in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory
Notice the patern, God's purpose, God's election, God's will, God's good pleasure, not mine, yours, nor theirs. You can imagine that God has a plan, and understand that its hard to conceive of a plan that is in the hands of billions of other free willed people.
Acts 4:27 for truly in this city there were gathered together against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, 28 to do whatever your hand and your plan had predestined to take place.
Do we conclude from this that God has only ordained, predetermined/predestined, people to fulfil His exactly that which He willed to be done, where and when He predestined it to be done? Or, do we understand that God is in control of all things, and hold tight to the mystery that exists in how man freely chooses that which God has predestined from before the foundations of the world?
An important question to ask is, why do we fight against predestination, sovereign election, irresistable grace, etc. etc.? Is it because we want to be able to be able to say we chose God, while others weren't as enlightened as us, that we overcame our flesh enough to see the truth of the gospel, while others were driven by their flesh to reject the gosple? Or, do we want to defend God from being unjust, unfair, and unloving? The scriptures speek about both.

Just as in Roman's first chapters, God reveals that He allows a person to go even more in his desires which is so clear that if you desire being wicked you become worse but if you desire good you'll be even be more Good. Thus he hates a person just because of their deeds. Another example may be Pharroh, God made his heart hard to change but already even before that, Pharroh already hated God. Another is Judas.

i say that, yes, God hates Esau and loved Esau. And it's not hard to reconcile that Yeshua indeed meant that we shud hate our father and mother, but He NEVER mentioned that we shud not love them. these are not contradictions. It's literally not black and white. There are colors involved. I can say make this bucket more red and later i say make it more blue. But that doesn't mean i mean don't make it red. Purple has blue *and* red. I say, God is like color, that He even created it so we kud understand these things from the natural world around us.
My essential point is that love is not *always* the opposite of hate, in every respect. We must understand *when* they are opposites, but also understand that at times they are not, like in the color example. If i had nearly a white color and i said make it more blue, (in a light-based additive scenario), then they wud be opposites where i'd be required to remove some red and some green to make it more blue. But if i'm starting with black, or a dark grey, then i don't need to remove any red or green. The situation depends on the details. I'm saying hate and love are like this too. :)

Well, if you know your Bible well enough, then you know where he is referring.
I would say 'it's just opinion' when people use some singular chapters and verses to back up their own believes (ignoring what the Bible says about the subject elsewhere). People usually just tend to cite one or two verses (which they like) to justify their opinion(s) (and ignoring those which doesn't fit to their thinking and which they don't like).
We need to have whole understanding to the Scriptures, we need to know the God's Word fully. Then we don't need specific Bible references.

The word saved is disappointingly missued here, I pray and rebuke any confussion in the name of Christ. To be saved is deliverance from sin and our carnal ways/thoughts by the blood of Jesus Christ, we are a new creation born again through our decision to accept God drawing us near to Christ as Lord and Saviour and want a loving relationship with the Father, like Jesus said sin no more, by belief we always hear our way out of sin, be perfect as your father is perfect Jesus preached, how is this possible, when we believe and let the Holy Spirit love and fill us eceryday and let the Father have his way in our life everyday. When Jesus Yahweh died on the cross I died with him, I cant crucify Christ again from my sin for that would to put him to shame. Our mindset here should be through daily renewal of our mind by his grace in the living word is how we continue in our saved new wineskin with its new wine state and go through the process of purification of our carnal mind which leads to sanctification in the fire of the truth untill all the dross (unclean thoughts, rememberances, reactions, ect of the carnal mind) are gone so we can be used by God in the mind of Chirst (since we are his hands and feet and he is our head) a continual basis, exciting!!!
The Truth is once we are a new creation in Christ Knowing the Fathers Love and our true identity as a child of God revealed by his Spirit we opperate from the mind of Christ and do all things for the Fathers Glory for his Kingdom, by such a understanding there is no chance to fall away from the greatest gift again unless you truly are a fool. The sanctification process is a result of our free will of faith to choose to obey or not. His love is so overwhelming, for it was what we are made for when we repent from our carnal ways and truly believe on Jesus who has called you, died for you, prayed for you to be one with the Father. What more can you want when your one with him, true godliness (fatih with works of Fathers love) and contentment is truly this!!
In Hebrews Ch 6:4-12 For [it is impossible to restore to repentance] those who have once been enlightened [spiritually] and who have [a]tasted and consciously experienced the heavenly gift and have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted and consciously experienced the good word of God and the powers of the age (world) to come, 6 [b]and then have fallen away-it is impossible to bring them back again to repentance, since they again nail the Son of God on the cross [for as far as they are concerned, they are treating the death of Christ as if they were not saved by it], and are holding Him up again to public disgrace. 7 For soil that drinks the rain which often falls on it and produces crops useful to those for whose benefit it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God; 8 but if it persistently produces thorns and thistles, it is worthless and close to being cursed, and it ends up being burned.

9 But, beloved, even though we speak to you in this way, [c]we are convinced of better things concerning you, and of things that accompany salvation. 10 For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown for His name in ministering to [the needs of] the saints (God’s people), as you do. 11 And we desire for each one of you to show the same diligence [all the way through] so as to realize and enjoy the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 so that you will not be [spiritually] sluggish, but [will instead be] imitators of those who through faith [lean on God with absolute trust and confidence in Him and in His power] and by patient endurance [even when suffering] are [now] inheriting the promises.
Enjoy the growth process and aim to produce the 100 fold (100% faith life) so you get your hopes up high in Chirst and aim for the best, with your eyes on him, run your own race! You can do all things and the desires of the Fathers heart in your life through Chirst!
love you all please let me know your thoughts, i pray the grace and peace of Christ rule and rein in your hearts!

If you have been pulled to the shore wouldn't you say that you were saved? Have been saved ? Wouldn't you say that the person saved you by himself alone and through his kindness alone ? ( grace alone ) sure if you didnt recieve the rope and take hold of it then you would have drowned . You would never go round saying that your still being saved . To walk around saying " I'm being saved " after being saved from drowning, some might say your a little confused .

@@stevedally3573 I used to believe that as I first attended many churches which taught this . The anology is referring to ' being saved ' so you grab the rope , your pulled ashore and then the next day you are going about saying I'm still " being saved " . Unless you do believe that Jesus only offered you the rope , you took hold and your still in the water ? This sounds like a strange life guard and would either not be strong enough to pull you to the shore or incompetent to get you out of the water safely. The bible seems to say that Jesus saves us from the water, sets us on dry land , gives us new clothes and food and water that they will NEVER hunger and NEVER thirst , meaning Eternal life .

Come; for all things are now ready.... Luke 14: 15-24
In the Holy Scriptures, we first of all notice something that is just as weird as it is lovely and thoughtful. And for most people will perceive as new and surprising.
It is; that the sins of all men are already forgiven and erased -! before people have been converted and believed.
Before they themselves receive the grace, the forgiveness of sin that is finished and offered to them.
What does it mean? Scripture says that the meaning of
the redemption in Christ is the remission of sins. And that, when Christ died on the cross, we were reconciled with God. That our sin was “then” erased.
Where is this written? Well, in Rome. 5:10 says: "While we were yet enemies,
we were reconciled with God by the death of His Son. "
Notice that the Bible verse does not say: We will be reconciled, but: we were reconciled.
Nor does it say by our repentance, prayer, or doings, etc. But by his Son's death.
The Bible verse also does not say when we were converted and friends, but then / while we were enemies.
"We must be reconciled" is never the same as "we were reconciled". Our repentance, prayer and good deeds are never the same as the death of the Son of God.
And further, in 2 Corinthians 5:19 - it was God who in Christ reconciled the world with himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech [you] by us: we pray [you] in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God
As if the apostle would say, God has now received a merciful mind.
It happened at Christ's death. Now, sin is taken away and no longer for His sight. Now He is pleased and reconciled with you.
Let yourself be reconciled to God.:
I ef. 1: 7 and col. 1:14 we read the same words: "We have the redemption in his
blood, that is, the remission of sins. ”Here the apostle clearly explains what the redemption in Christ's blood is: that you have the remission of sins.
Dan. 9:24 - says: That at the time that is assigned there and which was fulfilled by
The death of Christ, "the apostasy should be enclosed, the sin hidden, and the guilt of sin, and eternal justice is brought forth ”.
In Isaiah 53: 3-6, it says: "The Lord cast all our sins upon Him (The One)."
    Single-born son)
That He was wounded for our transgressions, shattered for our iniquities. To
The punishment was imposed on him, so that we might have peace, and by his wounds we have been given healing.
Thus, the Holy God has written down the words and we must accept them
as they sound and know that the Lord God wants it this way, no more
    or less.
What do these words tell us. Yes, that all sin in the world, the sins of all men,
The sins of the wicked also have been cast upon Christ. I.e. they became
imputed upon him, written on his account, and paid, atoned for and taken away. If they have been thrown at Him, then they are no longer on the sinner.
This means that no one needs to perish because of his sins.
10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; [and] he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 1 John 5:10-12

David Pawson is the best Bible teacher i know. Very few people have studied the Bible in as much depth as he has. If you disagree with him then most likely you are wrong. There are things that i dont agree with him either. But often that is because i havent fully understood what he is actually saying. Have you listened to his unlocking the Bible series? Have you read the Bible through as much as David? I have listened to David on and off for 30 years. It is now hard to find a church where the Pastor says anything worth listening to. Most are pretty superficial. I am sure that very few actually read their Bible in detail. Bless you bro. I am not trying to be critical of you. Just reflecting on my journey. I admit i rarely spend enough time studying God's word. But that is my goal.

@@reksubbn3961 "If you disagree with him, then you are most likely wrong " Wow, that's a shocking lack of use of true discernment! Even Mr Pawson would challenge that assumption. Worryingly, your response contained absolutely no biblical support. Rather, it was based on the "argument from authority" where anyone disagreeing with Pawson must be wrong due to his superior understanding of scripture. I've been listening to Pawson for over 45 years in the UK. I love the guy, but he does get stuff wrong. I use scripture to determine truth/error. I don't use Mr Pawson as an objective guide. That's actually verging on creating a personality cult, and is extremely dangerous.

@@DG-mv6zw Thank you for your detailed reply. And your passion. And I fully agree with you. I think of David in much the same way you do. I worded my comments quite specifically and I believe you quoted my words accurately. I said 'most likely' on purpose. My comments are as much to myself as others. David has had the opportunity to study the Bible in far more detail than I ever will. This includes in the original languages. The chances are that if I don't understand something it is most likely me that has it wrong. But I agree that no one is perfect. I too have listened to David for many years. One thing that concerns me is his lack of influence in his own country. We don't see any major revivals. He visited my town of Shepparton Australia in the early 80's where they had a massive turn up and outpouring of the Holy Spirit. And it lasted one night! because of the disunity of the pastors. You can listen to his comments in the series on the Kingdom. I have tracked down a number of people involved including the organiser to try and understand why it only lasted one night. Did David actually say something that caused it to end? Or as I believe he sowed a seed that is bearing fruit as we speak. Bless you for responding. But my only intent is to truly hear what the Spirit is saying and to act on it.

We read in Genesis 1, "God saw that it was good" several times before any person was created. So was Mr. Pawson correct to state that "good" does not exist without reference to persons? But I admit that Mr. David Pawson is a great Bible teacher.

Perhaps we first have to establish and understand what God meant when He referred to His creation as being GOOD.
My humble opinion would suggest that probably God meant that there was perfection in His creation, ie no errors or inaccuracies. That would mean that God's creation had no errors or inaccuracies, thus GOOD in His sight.
I would like to believe that David Pawson, if I correctly understand him, implied GOOD/GOODNESS as being a property of something without which it can not exist ie we can only observe GOOD if it exists in something, so if nothing is in existence we can therefore not observe this property since on itself and by itself cannot exist. I would like to believe that the same is true for evil.

What a load of garbage! Saved is immediate! These people using corrupt versions of the bible which say being saved. How long did his physical birth take which Jesus compared to spiritual birth? David Pawson relies on his works for salvation and has fallen from grace.

    • @DavidPawsonMinistry

Garbage ? are the KJV and NIV versions corrupt ?
Does Matthew 10 :28 not say that
he who endues/stands firm to the end will be saved ?......
Does Hebrews 6:4-6. not warn about falling away
For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who have once been enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away
Does 2 Peter 2:20 not warn about no going back to your former ways
“If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome,
How many verses of scripture does it take, from well respected translations of the Bible - KJV NIV etc to warn Salvation is conditional - "on us remaining faithful to Jesus"
      Will everyone be saved ?
Are You "Saved," or Are You "Being Saved” (1 Cor 15:2)...both are correct but conditional
Salvation is past : through Christs action on the cross - present in us accepting Jesus as our Lord and Saviour ..... and future by remaining faithful, enduring to the end .....
You use a great example - we have been thrown a lifeline........ but do we not have a role to play - do we have a choice
      - hold onto the lifeline and not let go ?
For someone thrown a lifeline in old age - it may not take a moment to pull them out but the if you are a long way off shore when you are thrown the lifeline....getting to the shore can be an age
We are not taken up into heaven the moment we accept Christ - it can take many years of struggle , temptation and resisting the devil and .........remaining faithful
If we do not remain faithful and we do obey his commandments does Hebrews 10:26 not warn us what will happen ?
"If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace:
Garbage?.... with respect Im quoting Gods word
If you listen to Pawson you will learn two things about what he teaches
      - don't accept what Pawson says - check him out in Gods word - thats the test
      - Pawson teaches Ephesians 2:. “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God a gift from God not a result of works so no man ,may boast "
The Greek word here for faith is the same Greek word for " remaining faithful " ....translate it was you wish Mathew 10:28 confirms this
If you are going to quote Pawson - please quote what Pawson actually says !.....even if you disagree with him
