This might be my first pair of Parkhurst boots, but I doubt it will be my last. I am loving these boots. Great quality, great construction, and killer looks!
It’s a nice boot . I’ve been addicted to “ duckfeet “ lately . Very nice all leather handmade boots , danish style . Check em out if you haven’t heard of them
@@Papachongo1972 I’ve been eyeballing them since this past spring. I am thinking about picking a post up for this winter. We don’t get much snow these days. But we get a lot of sloppy rainy weather…. Much like Europe!
@@jeffgrantMEDIA ya the soles are a bit slippery tbh, I’m gonna toss some Vibram on those . I’m in San Diego so the only wear n tear they get is walking the dogs thru the brush lol , but they break in really well and then I got a pair for looks, they do look slick .
I wouldn’t say the 602M Last (created by Parkhurst) looks or fits like the Number 8 Last (created by Red Wing). The 602M is a longer and pointier Last. The Number 8 is a more bulbous round toe Last. Wondering why you suggested they are similar.
@@EDHBlvd because they are similar. I have tried on many pairs of Iron Ranger’s, and these for very similar to them. Yes the Iron Ranger has a more bulbous toe, and I even say this in the video. The sizing and fit are very close, don’t find the 602M to be any longer than the #8.
@@jeffgrantMEDIA one problem is Red Wing sizing changed about 10 years ago. So it’s not even consistent. My 12 year old Iron Rangers are at least 1 full size larger than modern production Iron Rangers. Red Wing is a mess.
@@EDHBlvdevery pair of Iron Rangers I’ve tried on in the past 1.5-2 years have all fit basically the same. The moc toe very slightly depending on the leather. But a half a size up if anything.
@@jeffgrantMEDIA as I said. They changed their sizing about 10 years back. So if you have pairs from before like I do, they don’t align with sizing of their modern pairs in the same size.
@@EDHBlvd I am not comparing the 602M to a last from 10 years ago. I am comparing to the current #8 last. And they are very similar in size and fit. I wouldn’t compare nearly anything to a size or cut from 10 years ago. Nearly nothing will fit the same in that time frame. And after 10 years of wearing the same boots, they will be basically molded to your foot. So nothing will fit the same.
Parkhurst is one of my favorite makers. A variety of great leathers and lasts, nice construction and finishing. Thanks for the view of this model.

Great review for a great looking boot…thanks!
Thank you very much. And thanks for watching!
That is an absolutely beautiful boot.
@DeffoZappo thank you. I absolutely love these boots! Parkhurst knocked it out of the park with these boots.
