    Thanks for this. I was just treating them like any other house plant when I should've been "abusing" them by letting the soil dry out. That's how it would receive water in the wild. Makes sense to mirror that behavior.

    U always showcase ur thick leaves succulent... All r beautiful... But I am really interested if u have semi succulents too... N how to care for them?.. Like for Echiveria n peperomias soil should b same or different etc.

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  3 года назад +1

      thank you so much 😊....I tend to use the same mix for all the succulent being it any variety of succulent....if I feel the soio is drying very quick then I just add an inch of regular gardern soil that’s all just an inch

    • @vandanad3786

      @@LushGardener u mean as top dressing?... Actually I got different types of succulents n really confused what is best for all of these... Especially once that came bareroot.

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  3 года назад +1

      @@vandanad3786 kind off top dressing because my soil mix is very gritty but if your succulent soil mix contains a lot of soil then avoid any kind of dressing ......gritty mix will work well for all succulents.....if you confused about sunlight and you have to much different varieties best solution is green shade cloth or net just put succulents under that

    Please make one more on pesticide and fertiliser🙏🙏

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  4 года назад +1

      yes m working on that......but fertiliser is the least part required in succulents however I will be making a video currently working on it ....I personally don’t use any fertiliser I just use my pond water ......☺️🙏🏻

    • @kiransunita198
      @kiransunita198 4 года назад +1

      LushGardener that’s great i know you are using pond water as i watched your all video but i don’t have any pond and pond water m eagerly waiting for new video 😊

    • @LushGardener
      @LushGardener  4 года назад +1

      Kiran Sunita yes sure it will interesting as u will know a lot of new things 😊.... how ever don’t use much nutrients in soil .... succulent will still grow fine..... so don’t worry abt fertiliser but what u can do is collect rain water.... and use that it’s the best water u can give for succulents 😊🙏🏻
