  • Florian Grummes points out that silver is currently trading at a massive premium on the Shanghai market and explains that although the metal typically follows gold, it is now exhibiting its own behavior when it comes to price action. Florian also believes a commodities supercycle is inevitable but he thinks overzealous investors in gold, uranium, and other natural resources could get burned as they rush into a market that can remain irrational longer than they can remain solvent.

Makes sense. … tech companies make profits then pay premiums for chips & labor & energy & materials .. now commodities will become the bottleneck as tech & clean energy scale up

If you think premiums in Shangai are bad, you should look at premiums in UK. In 2022, they were close to 100%😂. @17usd/Oz, physical was circa £30/Oz

Careful with lithium. The EV revolution is not necessarily what we think or want it to be. Hyundai for example was going to transform its entire production to solely EV and pulled back on that decision. The sector might spike anyway on speculation, just beware of the risks of it all being a nothing burger

I'm personally more on your side here, I don't see the 'EV Revolution' taking hold like many think it will. Of course, I could be wrong.

Newsflash: More dollars chasing the same goods and services doesn't equate to a booming market. It only confirms that a booming market doesn't really exist. A booming market means lower prices.

Why do the super promoters/sellers of commodities tend to want fight you tooth and nail for a commodities buyback discount. I'm starting to think that they don't believe in all the hype 😂😂😂
