The most bad-ass dude in the game, never took any shit, even from comrades, and was always eager to get to fighting when it came down to it. Every single time it was time to fight, Warrior of Light would basically tell them to shut up and to start fighting, lol. He never doubted himself unlike Cloud or Squall, and always had confidencs in himself no matter what.
So basically, he bodied most of the main stay villains on his own, defeated Garland multiple times and beat Chaos. He's the strongest FF hero of all time. His feats prove it.
In FFOO I use him mostly cus he makes a good shield to protect my characters from dying. XDDDD i always spam that protective shield of his to protect my characters alot specially my favorite ones like Sephiroth,Cloud,Vincent and Noctis plus my healers. XDDDDD
I will always deem the WoL vs Garland scene as my favorite boss battle cutscene; The way NO ONE took a single hit and blocked each move, including the ones using the battlefield as an obsticle?? Dude, you can tell they were both beyond experienced with battles.
Which makes sense since he's a wordless, nameless NES era character. Of course he'd be straightforward. Giving him more than that would be untrue to who he is. For great justice and all.

That's exactly the reason why he's the leader of the Warriors of Cosmos, and Cosmos' right-hand man. He's earned his right to those roles.
