if you want to move permanently to Ghana I will advise you do it gradually otherwise you will run out of money.if you are on retirement receiving pension then you will be the happiest person in Ghana, your dollars can do more for you in Ghana than in the states. But before you move permanently you first come to buy a house in a gated community where you have access to basic amenities. After you buy the house rent it out and come back to the states and save more money.Whiles in the states you can plan and research on a business you want to do or apply for a job here in Ghana. Remember to think big but start small because you might want to change your business plans. So you come back to Ghana to execute your plans .Once the business is taken off you go to the states for the last time and then prepare yourself finally and come back. At this stage you have made some mistakes and learnt your lessons and know what works and what doesn't work. Make contact with good middle class locals with a good heart who are ready to help you genuily and introduce you to thier families like Ebenezar did.
If you are Christian go to a church in a middle class community and make good friends.
If you are not an entrepreneur or a risk taker please stick to properties, keep buying apartments and houses and rent them out or invest in a resort.

Pabby Nana .... thanks for sharing your thoughts. I’m traveling to South Africa in 2019 (Kenya, Botswana, Zimbabwe) before I decide on which country to reside but I will make Africa my retirement. I’m very financially secure (thankfully) so I’m excited to just relax and maybe volunteer my talents to help others when I move. 😊
I agree, always have a plan before moving anywhere thanks again for your helpful hints.

@@servantoftheonetruegodalmi7212 Kenya is not any better than Ghana, besides Ghana is more politically safer than Kenya, security in Ghana is far way better than Kenya, is it not in Kenya that terrorists group called al-shabab stormed their city mall to kill and maimed people for days? Before the army stormed in there to rsscue people, Kenya always riot and fight in the streets any time there is a presidential election, don't throw dust into her eyes.

Peace my sister happy hear that you had a great experience in Ghana, I have been to Ghana several times, and intend on moving there next year, however you mention something concerning to me the have and have not, just a point of clarity we have that also in amerikkka as well. Had it not been for the government sponsored social programs like welfare the people here will be doing the exact same thing trying to survive like the head waiters you encounter on some of the main roads, and tool booths there are no social programs or safety net for them, there Moto is if you don't work you don't eat for the most part. I fell in love with the country and its people, yes they are hard working and respectful to each other a trait we lost long time ago as black people here. They are also very family oriented we use to have that also that is our heritage. I am moving there because my ancestral spirit lives in Africa, especially in Ghana. I hope to meet you on the path. I am starting a health wellness NGO my contribution to the people. Peace and much Love to you my Sister, good video.

I’m going to visit other countries before I settle so I can understand how everyone really live. I’m not trying to farm or live life less than what I currently have so that’s why I’m taking my time. The caretaker and his family is great and will take great care of you. It cost about $35 USA per night. It’s beautiful in the mountains and yes very cool! No bugs or mosquitoes really. Great location 🇬🇭❤️👍🏽

mkay3751 ... there is a have and have not society in Ghana 🇬🇭 but also in America. We in America have the same but the difference is we have government programs that help but Ghana’s citizens are truly independent.
I was taken back by the in your face poverty. I don’t live like that so it’s sad to see.

@@msyawnietravels5861 l mean no disrespect toward you. I view more than a few videos of travelers from the diaspora going to the continent. It's just that blk Americans come off as arrogant and very ignorant (child like). I think we are also viewed that way. 9.9 times out of 10 one way or another we are a very dependent people.

mkay3751 no offense taken. ❤️ As a black American my thinking and programming is like most of the world 🌎 “COLONIZED” not ignorance or child like. I’ve lived a very privileged life due to the sacrifices of my ancestors. I’m very humbled for this reason alone and made no attempts to speak otherwise.
My personal opinion of the in your face poverty in Ghana is real; the ignorance to me as an American is why the Government of Ghana has allowed this covert “mindset” to keep its citizens downtrodden.
I will find a place to retire in a country in Africa but No place is perfect 👌🌎
Thanks again for your feedback 👍🏽

mkay3751; my only other comment is Dependent vs Independent. It’s much better to be Independent than to be Dependent as you mentioned in your comment. I applaud the Ghanaians for their independence and resourcefulness, their family oriented mindset and pure genuine respect for each other! I’m extremely independent, EDUCATED and financial blessed. It’s not arrogance to not apologize for your greatness! Walk in your greatness sweetheart and see how your life changes.
Change your thoughts; Change your Life!! Positive thoughts always ❤️

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
      That most frightens us.
      We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
      Your playing small
      Does not serve the world.
      There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine,
      As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.
      It's not just in some of us;
      It's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear,
      Our presence automatically liberates others.

Hello Sunflower 420,,, Happy Sunday. :-) Please don't allow your fear of "false disease claims" to stop you from living your BEST LIFE! Change your thoughts; and your Life will Change. All of the so called diseases you've mentioned can be found everywhere; not just Africa. If you think that you're going to catch something then you probably will. Don't go through life fearful of "what might happen" Life is Beautiful and our World is Amazing. Step out of your comfort zone and just GO!!
