Man, that is impressive. Something that is lost when looking at the exterior of these ships is the complexity of the interior. Very nicely done.

🖖😎👍A very cool looking ship design indeed and loved all of the interior shots of the ship as well, Very nicely well done and very well executed in every way and detail provided indeed👌.

I can't begin to imagine the artistry and patience that goes into producing something this beautiful. I can only say thank you.

The thing I loved most about this rendering was the attention to the "Blue-Collar, working life" areas of the ship. I could easily imagine myself as a crewperson working in those areas and, while it may not have the glamour of being a bridge crew, it shows the true value of the ships to the Federation far better than the "Space Fight" CGI videos that're so much more common on RUclips. The closest thing to any sort of complain I have is the aesthetic of the color choice seems more reflective of follow-on series than the bright, hopeful view that Gene Roddenberry had for TNG.

Jeff Anderson this might be a slight refit

Kaoru Ohta Between us, I'm more of the opinion that it is an inspired artistiv vision.
Also, please don't get me wrong about this; I think the whole video is absolutely beautiful (and visually thousands of times better than the over-flared stuff that's been in the theaters recently). I just have a different aesthetic preference; that's all.

Absolutely the most detailed amazing depiction of the interior of a star ship I've ever seen modeled. Please continue and show us the rest of the ship. It was actually enlightening!

My Word totally mega cool.. all the details and even the readouts and screens all working. I can't even begin to work out how you even designed all this never known made it? Truly Amazing work.. Shame that now CBS ( Criminal Ba*stad Sh*ts ) have started in the 51st year of the franchise to stop any fan works including 3D Animation non-profit videos from being done even though these amazing works are not anti-copyright they are just the fans working hard for no gain to do tribute to the great Star Trek dream! Without the fans supporting, loving, paying for and keeping alive Gene Roddenberry dream there be no star trek over the last 50 + years.. the Fans are the Franchise.. something the greedy short sighted CBS bosses forget?

'Planning for Tomorrow' - So many old shows, even TOS are getting the 'Treatment' to upscale and recreate Animatics and SpecialFX in Current Year visuals. Whether its recreating the Bridge of the Enterprise or the Fighters in Babylon 5. Yet so little Reference shots are made in all of those productions. A part of me thinks its pure nonchalance thinking about the future.. or what people 50 years from now might think of doing. But even with Game Culture Visuals there is a failure of imagination to think about 'leaving something behind' for future generations to pay it forward and gift them something from the Past that could be used in Tomorrow.

Personally I think that building a saucer section on a vessel of that size without its own warp drive is the height of stupidity. Anything capable of killing the battle section would have very little difficulty in hunting down a merely impulse capable vessel.

I rather like this... It clearly isn 't the galaxy class we know... Too elongated, wrong length nacelles, wrong warp core, engineering layout isn't as seen on screen... But I do love all the behind the scenes bits, conduits, actual areas where work is done rather than monitoring etc.and it is very pretty ^_^

If you wanted to spruce up the Galaxy Class with Sovereign-class-styled interiors...?
Would this be your preference for a "Block III" series of Galaxy-class ships?

I'm very interested in starting 3D modelling as a hobby but I was wondering if you could give some pointers on how to animate like this. Any tips or a tutorial video would be appreciated, as I'm very interested in modelling and creating animations like these. Keep up the great work :)

You can build a gimble arm and program it for smooth movements and also, what I use a lot, is parent the camera to a path, and have it track an empty object. Move the empty and the camera movement is smooth.
