Konnichiwa Sensei - Question No 3 ----- かぜをひいて - It is 'te' form of catch cold (jisho form is かぜをひく)... what about かぜをひいて (いて) - one more いて is added after the 'te' form.... it is not clear..... could you please explain...Thank you
She used the “ている” form for present continuous and the result is “ひいていて” because she also had to use the “て” form given the sentence is followed by another sentence

@@CMA_Jagan “ていて” is the “te form” of “ている”. She used this form because there is another sentence that follows it, so the “te” form is required. Therefore, there are the “te” form of the verb “ひく” and the “te form” of the verb “いる”
