    Eugene Perelshteyn is so underrated as a chess instructor. He's one of the best out there. Explains stuff super clearly.

    No one ever plays the way these videos expect the opposition to play. I hoped to play these lines today and my opponent played 2: e6 after I played Nc3.

    if black plays 5....a6?

      Then 6.Bc4, because after 6…e6 7.d3 Nge7 8.0-0 d5, White has 9.Ba2! 5…a6 is Stockfish’s recommendation.
