I lost my wife a few year ago. She was definitely my soulmate. We always found it funny, and frustrating, that we grew up no more than a few miles apart and our circles of friends intertwined, yet it took us until 25 to meet. When we did finally meet it was like we had known each other our whole lives. I didn't believe in love at first sight or soulmates until I met her. This movie has me thinking there's some truth to it since she was just 4 months older than me. If this truly is how it works then I have no doubt that we'll be together again. Maybe next time we'll get more time together.
RIP, she is waiting for you on the otherside bro. Just before my Uncle died in Hostipal years back, he told the nurse that my grandmother his mom and her dog now long dead visited him.
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I did an undergrad Art History final paper on this movie. If one knows anything about art, the periods, theology, and how they mix together, this movie becomes so much more meaningful. The writers and directors knew what they were doing. I love this movie in so many ways.
This is so hard to watch after his passing. I’m a mess. I’m heartbroken that he had to experience Lewy Body dementia; nobody deserves that. He was such a wonderful person
You know it's sad the fact that you would say nobody deserves that and you don't have all the answers or see all the outcomes so who are you to say that nobody deserves that in my opinion we all deserve something whether it be good or bad is entirely opinion and nevertheless you're guaranteed to pay for life with suffering because after you suffered you can appreciate what comes next that is to say that you will become more holy but I digress God bless
I was 6 when this came out and saw it soon after and remember thinking it was some fever dream years later because it was so unlike any other movie I'd ever seen.
Such a loss for all of us with this talented actor. Robin Williams will forever be missed. Patch Adams was also an inspiring movie he made a big impact in his role.
This was probably the most underrated performance Robin Williams had ever done. NO one can say they're a true fan of his unless they've seen this movie. It's an often overlooked movie, one that you don't see in many other movies today, with such a unique storyline. Now that he is gone, I'd like to believe that the heaven that was created for this film is the heaven that Robin is happily living at peacefully, maybe even more so beautiful than the film had created.
I'm not saying anything bad about this movie, because I like it too, but people have very busy lives, so your claim that you're not a true fan of his if you haven't watched it (I haven't yet) is VERY flawed.
This movie unfortunately came out at the same time as Titanic, and was completely overshadowed, even though I thought it was a far superior love story. I guess Robin didn't make teenage girls swoon quite as much as a young Leonardo DiCaprio. Ironically, the Titanic was in this movie as well
All of his movies where the best i grew up to this man's movies. He's in a much better place now but his movies will always bring smiles to kids and to grown ups alike 💯🙏

I was only three when this came out. But it became one of my favorite movies growing up. There was a time when I literally watched this movie about 100 times total. It was so beautiful and sad. I loved how his triumph over Hell made me feel so hopeful about the hardships of life. I was going through a depressing time through my childhood and this movie got me through it. What dreams May come is incredibly written and a true gem like you said!
2 Corinthians 12-9 My grace is sufficient for you for my power is made perfect in weakness. I didn't see a single movie that Robin did that i was disappointed in. From The world according to Garp with John Lithgow, the fisher king with Jeff bridges, Dead poets' society, Good will hunting with matt Damon, Good morning, Vietnam! with Robert Wuhl and Forest Whitacker, voice over in Aladin, and this one with Cuba Gooding Jr. (shout out brother :) Annabella Sciorra. Awakenings with Robert Deniro, Hook with Dustin Hoffman and Julia Roberts, Mrs. Doubtfire with Sally Field and Perce Brosnan, Patch Adams also his tv series Mork and Mindy and numerous comedy routines.

Although it is wrong to take one’s own life, a person who does so may not be responsible for his or her actions. Only God can fully understand and judge the situation. Elder M. Russell Ballard said: “Obviously, we do not know the full circumstances surrounding every suicide. Only the Lord knows all the details, and he it is who will judge our actions here on earth. “When he does judge us, I feel he will take all things into consideration: our genetic and chemical makeup, our mental state, our intellectual capacity, the teachings we have received, the traditions of our fathers, our health, and so forth” (“Suicide: Some Things We Know, and Some We Do Not,” Ensign, Oct. 1987, 8). DM me to learn more.
Im sorry But I do not like this Movie I watched it when Robin was still Alive, the Fact that they added Hell in this Film Not all suicides go to Hell not when its not if the person has not committed suicide intentionally, its Faults Teachings I was very Happy with Robins Role and showing his Love and Loyalty for his Wife wanting to be with her again but no Film like this should have been made

This is my favorite movie. Annie was an unbeliever and she felt enormous guilt over the deaths of her husband and children even though it was not her fault. Annie, not God, condemned herself to Hell. She had to let go of her unfounded guilt in order to be able to go to Heaven.
Ahhh leave it to Robin Williams for making you feel like a human being even in his grave after many years, rest in peace oh dear friend, you will be missed by everyone even in the far future :(
I really like this movie. Unfortunately it irritated a certain group of people. The movie was brave enough to discuss philosophical and religious ideas but too cowardly to dig deeply into either topic. The visuals, story, cast, and presentation were fantastic imo but the message here was lacking for some. Imagine trying to learn Buddhism and Alan Watts is your teacher. Fun, easy to follow, but it can only take you so far.
_"when you accept your death you'll be able to move on"_ There are people that believe in the paranormal, and ghosts that haunt the realm of the living for whatever reasons they've been caught in-between. But the truth is, there are no ghosts that linger between the living and the dead, only demons that pass through arid places, and they can take any form of which a man's imagination finds acceptable. *Matthew 12:43 (nkjv)* _43 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none._ This is not speaking of the spirit of man, when it leaves his body, but the demons that go out of a man while he is still amongst the living. Death itself, comes as a thief in the night, according to God's Word, and death is appointed to all, and then to judgment, and many who die, do not accept death, but having no choice, are no longer able to hang on to life. Notice in the film, that none of this "paradise" is centered around God, or Jesus Christ, but on mere human emotions. God's Word said there will be no more tears, but in this version of paradise, you see such misery because of the one's they've left behind who have not made it to paradise.
This was a great film I saw it when I was a kid. The concept of suicide has always been at the cornerstone of religion, according to religion anyone who commits suicide is bound never to enter the kingdom of heaven. The reason why this is so important is that Robin Williams committed suicide and if religion is to be believed he is not in heaven but in hell, I really hope that is not the case because growing up like most people he was one of my favourite actors and made me laugh a lot, it would be a shame that a person who brought so much joy to children ended up suffering in hell.
Odd enough this concept of suicide is something recent since the bible doesnt necessarily say anything about suicide condemning to hell. Everyone that committed suicide in the bible were either forms of sacrifice or they had done something far worse.
I think it's more the case that you died in emotional turmoil. So if there's life after death, you would have to find God in the darkness. I don't think it is God punishing you, rather you put yourself in the situation. But if you can escape then I think you would go to heaven.
