  • A film I was commissioned to make to celebrate the biodiversity and nature contained within Singapore's forests and nature reserves, for Lee Kuan Yew's 100th official birthdate commemoration event at Market Place Singapore, October 2023. Both films: Secrets of the Forest (the loner version) and Five Minutes in the Forest (the shorter version), were shown at the event and presented to Prime Minster Lee Hsien Loong at the end of the event. The films contain: mammals, snakes, birds, lizards, frogs, insects etc
Singapore has lost over 80 percent of its biodiversity over the last 150 years' it is critical to treasure and protect what remains.
I would like to thank Robert Liew for organising and curating the event, Benoit Vayre for the clip of the leopard cat, Shanmuga Sundaram for some of the clips of birds.

Was that leopard cat you spotted a wild individual? Leopard cats are extremely rare in Singapore

Yes it was a filmed in Singapore. They are around still in a few locations, but as you said very rare. They are actually quite common on Tekong island, but that place is not open to the public.

sad to see the iguanas in the Singaporean forests, hope the local wildlife population won't be affected severely
