This was great, it helped me get my head around some of the concepts.
QQ : why didn't promotion_sk make its way to the fact_sales. I understand the need for the bridge table and its benefit but don't we need the promotion_sk in the fact_sales to identify the products sold during a promotion.
Does it make sense to create a SK in the fact_promotions and add that sk in the fact_sales table ?

At around minute 34-35 you spoke of mini dimensions and then proceeded to demonstrate what I thought was a junk dimension. I understood from you earlier than a mini-dimension could be something like a price change of a product and NOT necessarily a Cartesian junk dimension. Is a junk dimension a type of mini dimension, and if so, is it also true that all mini dimensions are not necessarily junk dimensions?

won't number of children, cars and bikes be in fact table as they seem like a measure columns?
