I've had a tough time with my faith. After a bad marriage plagued by the religious legalism, I fell farther and farther away. I still don't understand a God who would just let sinners suffer here on earth, but I also see how the sinner is redeemed by God and that's why we do need him. Life is tough love! Maybe that's it but without God it is immensely terrible, near impossible. I needed to hear this video. Our gift is where there is the least resistance, I believe that and it made sense when Steve said that. Great tip! 💖

You don’t gotta have faith in god, have faith in yourself. If you don’t have it, find out why and do what you gotta do to better yourself and make yourself worthy of that faith.
If success and happiness are based upon having the things I dream of, that means once I lose all of those things I also lose the success and happiness. People are so caught up in this world and desire the things of this world. On top of it they are quick to tie God to it, but God is does not care about your happiness or your success. God cares that you have joy because happiness is fleeting and you are only truly successful if you are obedient to what God has called you to do. God has never told anyone to chase after their own goals and dreams. But He has always said if you follow Him and His ways, and His word (not your dreams) then you will prosper and make your way successful. Wake up and stop allowing these "successful" people to deceive you into their way of success and happiness, instead of God's way! Grace and peace!

I'm struggling right now with maintaining a positive attitude I'm stuck in a place that's draining me mentally, I'm battling with grief of losing my dad, aunt and grandma this year and I'm left with people who make me dislike my life I don't know how much more I can take
