As fans we gotta realize the stresses and amount of pressure these men face. Amazing to see Joey open up, all love my dude! Drue, you’re doing an amazing job!
I gotta say, though, he sounds in an unwinnable situation in terms of mental health if football is placing those demands on him. Maybe it’s the work culture that needs to chill out and not people doing inhuman things to work around it.
Nobody is forcing them and they make millions of dollars
@@rodrigodavalos3072 And ? People ,if they make money shouldn't be treated with respect as far the pressure they deal with ? You just sound like ahater bruh ....or a Raiders fan !
Being paid over $100M the stress is nothing. Try losing your job & having a family to feed. Coming through that stress deserves praise.
damn always felt like Joey was a super human among men out there...to hear about the stuff he's going through is very humbling.
@@b-six-twelve bad take. It affects different people different ways and if he felt his immune system was good enough to combat it him self and like the science says the best anti bodies are born from having it might as well let nature take its course. Look how many covid cases happen last nfl season, not a single catastrophic case of any fatalities. Because it’s a 99% survival rate.
@@jakeuchiha9540 Yours is a terrible take. Doctors recommend the vaccination over natural immunity for a reason. Vaccination causes immunity to last longer. Additionally, it protects others. Those who catch COVID are likelier to infect multiple people before quarantining than infecting no one, and whether or not Joey thinks he can handle it does nothing to protect others he might infect. For someone who claims to care about others on his team, he seems totally comfortable leaning into selfishness and pseudoscience. Hope he didn’t infect anyone who later died. Hope he didn’t get long COVID. Hope he didn’t give anyone COVID who got long COVID.
@@jakeuchiha9540 First , 99% survival rate isn't true ! , it's skewed by the fact that people who had" underlying conditions " were used by antivaxers as the " real reason " Which is complete bs ! Somebody dies from Covid but had an infection from a cut and they'll say " They died from the infection not Covid ! " Totally misleading!
These podcasts are so incredible. They are in depth, natural and knowledgable. Drew is a natural at conversation guidance and direction. I could see Drew just interviewing the entire league eventually. He's just that good.
Praying for longevity in your career Joey 🙏🙏🙏
He’s so candid I’ve loved Joey through the years for being completely himself the anime, videogames, and the best mic’d ups. But the way he is in this is so expressive and just makes me glad he’s a charger. I just want all the best for him
Let’s go! the tranquilizer coming in clutch so I have something to listen to at work 🔥 this one should be good
My stoned dumbass read that, thought you took tranquilizer and it was kicking in at work...
@@CreamyPesto505 😂😂😂 that would be wild too
Love the vulnerability Joey showed here. Great work as always Drue and love the podcast.
Love you guys! Tip for Joey: your shoulders are rolled forward, which is causing your neck pain (you’re always flexing those muscles). Get with a good functional strength trainer who is going to fix your posture. 100% guaranteed it will change your physical issues and help with your mental stress.
Love that he was open about his mental health! On tip on nerves, is to tell yourself you're EXCITED rather than NERVOUS to allow you to play with energy rather than fear
Joey so humble and talks on his mental health, I take Zoloft and it works for my stress & anxiety with the pressure job, but I will believe praying you and your family. ❤️🙏❤
Nerve pain from my back was the worst pain I've ever experienced. The depression from chronic pain is a legit thing, that sometimes ends peoples lives too early. Hope you get relief joey.
Love him talking about his relationship with his Brother. One of the best pair of siblings to ever play in the NFL
Joey is the best. Such a cool guy- amazing to hear him open up like this. Thanks for another great interview Drue!
Drue - You do an awesome job with your podcast! The conversations you have with the "guests" develop and flow so well.
Joey - Thank you for your openness and honesty. You are a talented player and a great guy!
Joey is such a real one for touching base on mental health and medication. 👏👏
Huge chargers fan here, since 2005 when I was 8 years old. Love the podcast and this episode with Joey made me relate to the things you guys were talking about that I’m currently going through in my life. Thank you guys, bolt up ⚡️
Joey is a beast Thank the lord hes a Charger 🙌🏽
Joeys out look on life is truly amazing.
Joey is 100% real. Can definitely appreciate that. Just watched a documentary that had his great grandfather in it. Joe would be proud of these Bosa boys.
thank you for talking about this Joey. So important to get that message out that mental health matters.
Drue, I absolutely love these talks with your teammates. They are always so enlightening. In this lose format, you get a different picture of these amazing athletes and men. I have followed Justin Herbert since he became a starter at Oregon. I live 10 minutes from the Autzen stadium, Ducks home stadium. I continued to follow Justin to his NFL team that I am now a super fan of the Chargers. I just love this team and the whole organization. You have a really unique situation with your podcast to be able to have these conversations with these great young men. Have listened to everyone and anticipate more. LOVE IT. Keep up the good work.
Khalil Mack next? 😁⚡️
You are killing it lately Drue, nice job! ⚡️
Drue tell him if you read this. IT'S CALLED "PLIABILITY" joey needs this. It's all in the TB12 Book
tom brady legit talks about him always putting ice on his shoulders until he figured this out. This shit will be night and day to ice
This episode is golden on mental health. From playing college football and quitting sophomore year because early set arthritis in both shoulders. Not being able to lift or continue playing, mental health hurt my ego a lot because football was everything to me. Mental health was a killer for me for many years. So the little bit of advice Joey gave about overcoming that anxiety is something that I still have to do and been continuing to do. But it helps a lot. Thank you for talking about it you two. Miss watching you on the Chargers Drew
Good job speaking about your stuff Joey. If we never see the dark we can’t appreciate the light. Keep doing what you’re doing.
Same thing with my brother. We are brothers and care about each other but we set boundaries and we know we can’t be in the same house for more than a couple week.
Joey is 1 of 1. Vulnerable, tough, honest, focused. Great interview
bigger bear is my hero on the field. we love him so much
my college coach used to tell us FAMILY which always kept us humble and in the team aspect, what family means is
Forget About Me I Love You
it really helped keep my thoughts about the team rather than my solo success
Listening not that Joey will hear it, but my sponsor told me to start listening to myself when I talk. I do like the enlightenment that comes from your show Drue. No comments about playing with Mack. But I get missing his team mates from last year He battled with. Ya, I agree you are comfortable doing this. Never start gaming. LOLOL The amount of hours I have is pretty humbling. His bringing awareness to not stressing about tomorrow or yesterday is great. Live in now, that is enough to deal with.
Yo Drue, if you or Joey reads this let him know the interview was very genuine and relatable. Respect Fellas!!
This show is spectacular every episode. Drue embodies his last name with his tranquility as a host.
Love Bosa!!! ⚡️🔥
BOSAAAA !! Another great show 🔥🔥🔥
Dang shout out to drue for helping us understand these guys on a deeper level. We love you Joey Keep Pushing Bro Cause Were All Pushing With You!!!
Best episode yet, keep it up Drue!
Seeing these one on one long form conversations with some of my favorite players on the Chargers has been so awesome. Keep it up Drue!!!!
BOSA AND MACK GOT OFF THE EDGE IS A BEAUTIFUL SIGHT!!
Joey talking about his anxiety and mental health is so relatable. We think just because they are so successful, they are immune to normal human emotions and trials.
Best one yet. Thank you. Big fan of you guys. Keep it up. Looking forward to this season!!
I love this Podcast its a strong message absolutes .
I appreciate the sacrifice for my entertainment and their pursuit of greatness. I believe this is going to be a glorious season!
What an incredible channel and series. Absolutely love this deep behind the scenes insight and look at the people we look up to. We get to see them as human just like us and it truly means a lot to hear these gripping and real stories. So much love to Drue and the guests he shares here.
Real talk ... inspiring ! Great conversation.
Bosa is a beast of a player , and he's a really good dude to be putting the mental health issues out there !
Let’s go Joey B 😤
What he said about turning nervousness into excitement is so true. There is a fine line between being nervous and being excited. If you can turn your nerves into excitement you will feel and play so much better.
Drue you're doing a great job. Joey man, I hope you can find the best balance between your physical health and your career. Ultimately I guess I don't know if you can carry as much muscle and mass as you are on your body and not have some of the pain you have. Best of luck to you Joey, you have all of our support no matter what.
Love the convo with Joey. Really love his honesty about his mental health
Drue, these videos you make truly are a blessing! And, Joey, it was the perfect amount of deep. I'm a crazy Chargers fan born and raised in Wyoming and working deep in Shandong Province China. These videos keep me grounded. For fans like myself, it's good to get a peek at the human side of these professional athletes and remember that all of us are dealing the best we can with life and the choices that life presents to us. Love the videos, thank you!
these podcasts have been awesome. not many sports podcasts that have a chill energy like this
Dude Joey you’re the sh*t man. I take antidepressants and hearing from the toughest son of a gun like you really eases the minds of im sure many of us. This is a great episode, Joey is way more chill than I could have imagined haha.
Actually gained a great understanding of joey after this conversation. Great work on the podcast!!
Hey drue, I been dealing with an injury for a couple years and really gotten pretty down with similar thoughts as Joey lately. Can you let him know listening to this has really helped me mentally and given me some hope ✊🏻⚡️
Take things as they come in the moment. Any walk of life that is best way to go. Amen
I’m telling y’all, we’re super bowl bound this year! Joey admitting he decided this is the year he gives it 100%
He’s not the only one. Just want guys & gals, watch!
Drue needs some media attention these are the best podcasts around period
Joeys always been one of the realest guys on the team
Love these in depth talks I feel like I really get to know the person under the helmet
Man I love Joey!! Hope you have a dominant & healthy year! Bolt Up🐻⚡️⚡️⚡️
Bosa!!! You are the man!!! Tranquill is getting the best guests.
Love what Drue is doing. Bolt up 💡⚡️
Love the pod cast! You should get Herbert back on the pod his views definitely helped boost your channel growth! Keep up the great work.
Surprisingly deep conversation. This was a great watch. ⚡⚡⚡
Thank you for this podcast! We forget how human these athletes are and take for granted their well being and mental state. Glad Joey doesn’t have that macho man mentality when it comes to getting metal help, and he is seeing someone and getting the help he needs! We don’t want anymore news of CTE taking peoples lives! Great work!!! Boltup ⚡️⚡️
Always prayed for Herbie, because he would throw torpedoes, in the first play, but without direction. So I would pray that he would calm down. I'll remember to pray for the big Boss as well.
This IS my favorite Podcast.
Appreciate you for Doing this Joey , good job for getting him on drue
Another great interview.....Thanks for sharing Joey!
Love Joey ✊🏻⚡️
I did 300+ sessions of meditation for anxiety/depression and it wasn't nearly as effective as two months of the Wim Hof method. That rid all my anxiety/depression.
Praying this man stays healthy this season
Your best episode yet , Drue.
Drue you are killing it! Love the episode!
Crazy seeing chargers players actually talking on a pod and not just speaking cliches to the media
Thanks, drue! Love the show
Favorite episode so far. Good stuff 👍
Just discovered these podcasts - great job Drue! Didn’t realize Joey was so obsessional but I guess you have to be to max out as a professional athlete.
I love how drue gos to church 🙏😇 blessings
This is the best one yet!!!
Let's go! Been waiting for this one!
Idk if you can ask him this, but I had pretty much what he is describing I believe. I eventually got it fixed but it literally makes your upper back and shoulder feel like it was on fire. It's like a burning sensation in your muscle and yes, it was at its worst when just sitting around for a linger period of time
I got to meet him briefly and he was SUPER DUPER nice and a little awkward. I would LOVE to meet him again and do an anime gauntlet with the guy. It’s weird but for like the 2 mins I was around him it was oddly calming. Cool dude. Hope to meet you again, Joey!!!!
Great stuff Dru!! Best of luck to you and the Chargers this season #boltup
NEEDED THISSSSSS
Damn Drue, your a natural. I mean the real deal.
Dam I hope we win the super bowl so our boys that need to retire can retire bolt up⚡⚡⚡ respect to joey Bosa for speaking up on how he feels
I honestly think Drue has a career in sports media after his (hopefully long and illustrious) NFL career
Great video Drue
Joey is the goat
Best one yet!
Amazing!
Keep up the good work
I love the podcast, but Drue needs to chill on the "you're too far away from the mic". Most of the time when he says that, I can hear the guest just fine. He does it every episode, multiple times per episode. Drue constantly harping on the mic is more distracting than the guest not speaking perfectly into the mic.
Joey I know you don't wanna run around but read the TB12 book if you haven't, tom brady has solved this problem.
Love You Guys❤🙌⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Reverse hypers help fix lowback pain
Id love to know how Joey feels about having Mack as his right hand man!
Charger fan bolt ⚡ up love joeeeeee bossaaaaaa
