Nice guitars. Always buy what inspired you and think is sexy because you will play them more often. I find replacing the stock Bigsby spring with a Reverend soft spring makes a world of difference on them. Not expensive but worth the effort.😉👍✨

Couldn’t agree more about aesthetics, guitar players like to pretend looks don’t matter but anything that deters you from picking up and playing your guitar is a detriment, including the look. Glad you’ve made peace with the Strat, I love the white look, reminds me of Hendrix
Nothing superficial about guitar colors....I'm 'shallow' like that too...as they say supposedly in Germany..."the eye gets to eat too". Love pretty things....guitars are no exception. What's pretty gets played more. Had a 2622 (lefty, green, pretty)...sold it for an Eastman T486 (keeper for life). I got an '85 MIJ white strat too....white's nice...maybe swap in a pearloid pickguard. Experiment with boutique pups....buy used...they make a huge difference from stock pups. Love your vibe. I cant speak for anyone else, but I'd enjoy a video going over the pedals you use. It's always fun to see what people use besides amps to get their signature sounds.
I just found your channel, and I have to say that I love the background music that you composed, I think it's beautiful and really inspiring, especially the one during the Tele Talk.
I used to have an Electromatic as well. Really gorgeous clean tone that's great for arpeggiated stuff (especially if you use lots of 7 and 9 chords). But with a little overdrive, it can scream with the best of them. The sharp, treble sound makes them surprisingly great for hard rock leads. The guy I bought mine from installed a string butler on it. Said it helped keep the guitar in tune better, especially good considering the Bigsby. Not sure if those things really work, but worth checking out. Great, chill video. 😊✌️
I agree. I try to learn a new scale if I feel like I don't deserve a new guitar. BUT!!! everybody deserves/needs an expensive acoustic guitar. They even make me sound good

i love tele i have one with humbucker too these fender models of humbuckers sound so awesome on the neck position with sustain and a little fuzz. A lot of people dont like teles body shape but i never felt more comfortable on any other guitar when im playing its just so fun lol. Your song choices are really cool too a lot to discover for me
Fantastic guitars, you said you didn't want to buy anymore guitars but when you do you should buy a 12 string they are my personal favourite you'll not regret it i haven't. Electric 12s are amazing too my fav
sweet guitars! i think a les paul of some sort is in order too...dosent have to cost you the earth tho... epiphone makes really nice models....i have an IYV LP clone that i did the "greeny mod" on to get the peter green tones...and the look... i must confess...IYV did most of the work...i swapped out the knobs and did the "tone mod"....all for less than 200USD!
I love how different strats can feel and sound to each other. They’re easier to build and mod compared to other guitars, but they each have their own personality that can bring out different things in someone’s playing

Honestly, a vintage guitar is great, but a good vintage amp is such a wonderful thing. They are so sooo beautiful, warm and resonant, and they emphasise every single touch. If you want some vintage gear, and are looking to continuously improve your playing, I think a vintage amp could be the way to go. I recently got a 1966 pro reverb and my gosh, I've been waiting my entire life for it. I didn't know it until I got it, but it suddenly felt like I'd been playing half an instrument my whole life. Just my thoughts.
@@S-be6hp that’s actually pretty good advice and a nice bit of perspective. I totally understand what you mean about playing half an instrument (i think it’s very easy to get caught up acquiring guitars and pedals when searching for sound because they’re more convenient 😅) but amps are just as crucial to the way you sound as you play. I’ll definitely look into amps a bit more!

True! Hendrix influence definitely travels down the generations whether intentional or not (I think it definitely comes to me through RHCP and Frusciante though). The colour choice… maybe that was totally coincidental or subliminal because I definitely didn’t intend to make that link 😅

@@artemkrazhan6778 I don’t have an amp collection, sadly 😅. the only two amps i’ve really played through have been a fender champion 100 and a fender blues junior tweed amp (which i loved) but had to sell.. these days i usually play through plugins on Amplitube using similar style amps but I’m on the hunt for something new to play as a home practice amp
@@zainplaysguitars considering the type of guitars that you play and the tone you seem to favor (clear, defined chimey) a vox amp might be your thing, maybe an AC10 or 15, or a night train (low wattage, good for practicing at home and smaller venues) Strats and teles sound godly through vox circuits
I think you're spot on with the vox recommendation- i've noticed that a lot of my favourite players/bands have had vox amps as part of their sound. Not had the chance to play through one yet but this has given me a push to try it!

Gretsch를 사는데에는 김도형의 영향이 있을거라 생각했는데 의외로 조지해리슨의 영향을 받았군요. 저도 조니마의 리켄베커 330을 이미 갖고 있지만 그레치의 소리를 잘 활용한 비틀즈와 스톤로지스, 더 스미스, 잔나비 사운드를 내고 싶어서 김도형의 6120dc를 언젠가 갖고 싶지만 너무 비쌉니다ㅠㅠ 하지만 드림기타에요!

I’m just calling it as Fender did! Fender calls it Arctic White, I can see it’s off-white in person. The pick guard actually has a slight green tint to it, so it not really white either!

I have a baja series 60’s type telecaster I live on the neck pick up with that too.

is that white strat a 1995 squier series? if so, I have one of those too and they are kinda rare. look up the history behind them, really interesting.

@@zainplaysguitars considering the type of guitars that you play and the tone you seem to favor (clear, defined chimey) a vox amp might be your thing, maybe an AC10 or 15, or a night train (low wattage, good for practicing at home and smaller venues)
Strats and teles sound godly through vox circuits
I think you're spot on with the vox recommendation- i've noticed that a lot of my favourite players/bands have had vox amps as part of their sound. Not had the chance to play through one yet but this has given me a push to try it!

Gretsch를 사는데에는 김도형의 영향이 있을거라 생각했는데 의외로 조지해리슨의 영향을 받았군요. 저도 조니마의 리켄베커 330을 이미 갖고 있지만 그레치의 소리를 잘 활용한 비틀즈와 스톤로지스, 더 스미스, 잔나비 사운드를 내고 싶어서 김도형의 6120dc를 언젠가 갖고 싶지만 너무 비쌉니다ㅠㅠ 하지만 드림기타에요!
@@정래혁-w4u 사실 조지 해리슨 때문에 산 건데, 연주하면서 김도형 생각밖에 안 났어요 😂 제가 좋아하는 밴드들이 대부분 비슷한 기타를 사용하는 것 같아서 오랫동안 그 사운드를 찾았던 것 같아요… 다행히 잔나비도 같은 밴드의 영향을 받았어요 ㅋㅋㅋ
존 스콰이어는 제가 제일 좋아하는 기타리스트 중 하나에요!! 조지 해리슨이랑 똑같은 Gretsch 기타 색깔인거 같아요. 너무 비싸지만 그 음색은 정말 낭만적인데요… 리켄베커 대해 정말 부럽다! 사고 싶었는데... 돈을 필요해요...

That's not a white stat , it's cream color, the pick guard is white the body is cream ❤.
I’m just calling it as Fender did! Fender calls it Arctic White, I can see it’s off-white in person. The pick guard actually has a slight green tint to it, so it not really white either!

약 7년 전에 처음 만들었던 영상이 생각납니다. 아주 어색한 영어로 깁슨 파이어버드에 장착된 락킹튜너를 수리하는 법에 대한 영상 이었는데, 지금 보면 부족한 영어 실력에 부끄러움이 느껴집니다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 지나와서 생각해보면 영어실력을 비약적으로 늘려준 고마운 기회 였다고 생각합니다. 용기를 내서 한국어로도 한번 소개해 주세요.
