The hybrid battery is designed to last for the lifetime of the car, and should run without issue for at least 100,000 miles or 15 years, depending on usage.
As standard, the Honda ZR-V comes with a three-year/90,000-mile warranty, and you can pay Honda for an additional three years guarantee when that initial period comes to an end.
@@lrac111My mum has a CRZ (2010) owned from new. Still on original hybrid battery over fourteen years later. I wouldn't worry about it. Toyota products likewise seem to get huge lifespans/mileages out of the their hybrid batteries.
The side steps are an optional extra. He missed the heated seats in the rear on the Advance model, the HUD and the sunglasses storage which is a nice touch especially given the panoramic roof. Not sure if he mentioned the heated steering wheel. Hes trying to hard, which is a shame as he was good for the most part. As for how nice they are to drive, I put my order in today for one. As a negative the boot is small for class and the colour options are limited. They are easy to get into, I'm 6ft 6" and struggle to find vehicles that I can get through the door without whacking my head but the front and back door apertures are very big, bigger than many large SUVs.
Thank you for the feedback. He may look like he's trying too hard, but it's actually effortless. Congratulations on your order! Wishing you have many miles of happy driving.
@@ArnoldClarkAutosI have ordered a Sport , due in 2 weeks time . I’m struggling trying to find a video on it . Mostly it’s on top of the range models with extras added. I would prefer to see what My car has/looks like instead. But, as for your video , perfect guy for the job , understood every word, that’s something coming from a Sassenach lol😂
Exciting! Hope you have a great time with the new car. Appreciate the feedback on the models. We shoot whatever model is made available to us but it would definitely be useful to showcase everything across the board. Leave it with us!
@@Snookspook ive got a sport on order too and there are some videos of it on RUclips of the sport trim zrv. Main differences to the advance shown here has no heated rear seats or sunroof. Not full leather interior just part leather, no power adjusted passenger seat, only the drivers seat is. it has black alloys too.im not sure if the sport has blind spot monitoring or not
I took the ZR-V HEV LX for a test drive yesterday with the wife. The ZR-V is a beautiful build and finish and I was really keen to purchase it. Very quiet at low speeds. However the noise coming in from the sides for both of us on the open road from 80-110 km/hr was really obtrusive and significant. The noise sounded like it was coming straight in through the door window glass on both driver and front passenger at ear level. I spend a lot of time on open roads and it is currently a deal-breaker which is really frustrating as we love the car otherwise. So I am reading and researching trying to find out if this is due to insufficient sound deadening in the doors? 🤷🏻♂️. Or side mirror noise? I am going to take a LX petrol version for a drive to see if it was just an issue with that specific car we drove. If any ZRV owners have any comments that would be appreciated!
Wish the HR-V had this trim level in the US. Only goes to an EX-L here and it’s still missing features that a normal EX-L would have in other Honda vehicles.
Honda ( no disrespect to their engineering) as usual didnt push out the body design looks , that front grill YUK, bodywise they are at least 1 generation behind the curve of eye catching design , if it had arrived in 2012 it still wouldnt have caught my attention yawn 😢
That rear bumper bar in black looks much better than the same colour code we get in Australia
It also has a blind spot monitor
How much are the hybrid batteries when they need renewing?

@ArnoldClarkAutos can you also buy extended warranty from Honda after the 3yrs one runs out that cover these batteries? Or are they consumables?

I own a gasoline car, and the air insulation is bad, unfortunately. If you are interested, look for a better option
The step is an add on and doesn’t come as standard.

Very nice car
We liked it too!
It's a shame it does not have AWD. I would have buy it. These only FWD SUV is insult to costumers.
He's funny !
We think so. Glad you agree. He's also knows his cars, which is a bonus.
He's Scottish :)
And those things are not necessarily mutually exclusive.

Personally I think it looks great. It avoids the overly fussy, chintzy look that so many SUV's seem to be chasing.
