i bought a new keyboard just because of this problem...after installing its still the same....but after watching this video my problem solved! Thank you
Couple of hours ago my shift keys haven't worked. I simply found the cause and I fixed it by evenly tightening all the screws.I uniformly tightened the screws with equal pressure after cleaning inside the keyboard. Removing the keyboard is not recommended during warranty period. As a typist I have to clean my keyboard every now and then.

My windows 7 just broke and i fixed it by giving it to a shop,they updated windows 7 to 10 . My network connection pass includes @ . I was struggling.thanks for posting a usefull video

I checked in PC Windows 7 all setting are correct for shift button in control pannel. when I use any key with shift button then one shift button taking action shutdown down computer and other shift button taking action refreshing page after opening internet or web browser. but when I use shift button with any key in any Notepad or wordpad then its working fine. why its happening.plz tell me for this solution.

heyy!! yesterday i purchased a wireless keyboard online...but the problem is that the right shift is not working in some conditions...means when m holding r-shift and pressing colon(:) it doesnt work...but i dont think that there is problem with the key...coz when m pressing it without holding r-shift it works properly....nd talking about right shift key...i tested it on other keys..nd it is working properly...and many other keys along with the colon key is not working for example:- 'D' '=' '-' etc... plzz help me from this strange problem....
+shubham tamse Yes, it is a strange problem. If your laptop's/computer's normal keyboard is working well, the problem should be on wireless keyboard. Is some keys on a specific raw/column of keyboard is not working, then replacing keyboard is better. Trying on different laptop will give more clarity of problem.

What about in Pro mac book ? It has a German keyboard. The @ key is on the L key and I can't make it work.
If you have german layout keyboard, english us may not work. You must use proper input language like english QWERTZ Layout.

That seems a hardware problem.consider replacement of keyboard unit.

Try using right shift or left shift. If sticky key is enabled, keep it disabled.

You can use ON-SCREEN KEYBOARD. or consider replacing keyboard. But before replacing, confirm problem by using a USB keyboard.
