God Bless the people of Ghana. Much love from the UK.
Wow, Greetings from Canada. Thank you for a wonderful performance of this great work by Handel. Very well sung and played, Keep up the good work.
This was amazing! You brought together the best of two cultures and nailed it! Amen and God bless!
Simply brilliant. A wonderful discovery on You tube.
Handel will be proud, how you mastered his masterpiece song.
To the People of Ghana, my deepest respect to yr Country and yr People on the magnificence of this display of singing and music, the Performance is superb:
All my respect !! This is too beautiful!!
Handel could never have dreamed that his music would be so beautifully performed in Ghana. Gorgeous, thank you for such a rousing performance.
and, by the way, I don't think there ever was less need for subtitles. Your diction is second to none.
I do hope you have sent a copy to the King. I expect his office will get it to his desk... this is special.
Another proud Ghana moment. Seeing all the comments about this being the best version of Zadok the priest” they’ve heard is just beyond amazing!
Kukuroko! Ho twa! Ɔsoro de! Thank you from New Zealand.
THIS IS OUTSTANDING 🥵🔥!!!! Absolutely brilliant, from beginning to end, well executed 👏🏽🔥🔥
Oh my goodness. How wonderful. God bless you all. Such strength. Such intensity! 🙋🇬🇧
The keyboard players do a solid job. And then that choir comes in and just blows your mind! I’ve been singing in choirs my whole life (in South Africa) and there’s nothing like an African soprano to bring the goods when needed. And of course Ghanaians are just fantastic so this is the perfect video 😄👍🥂 I was smiling from beginning to end!
@@hoolydooly5072Why is it a problem?
I loved it! It’s early in the morning but well I’m awake anyhow.
Australia says God bless Ghana. and kindest regards to our friends in Africa
Well! THAT'S how you get a thousand voices in such a small space!!! I thought the best version I'd ever heard was the coronation... until I heard this!!! Please get over to Britain soon, doesn't matter where I'll buy a ticket and come see you!!! I have no words...!!! Thank you
Great !!!
I wonder if Handel ever imagined that his music would be performed in the middle of Africa without an organ is sight! So powerful. Beautifully done. Congratulations. Thank you from South Africa.
I'm so proud of my African family. Wow when the choir comes in the heavens open.
That was a real Sharp Intake of Breath moment!
Absolutely exquisite! The best version I’ve ever heard. It’s as if the Holy Spirit endowed them with angelic voices and they were singing to God Hinself!
Breathtaking. Reduced me to tears.
It's the first time I've listened to this piece and understood every word.
Thank you so much.
And I love those shirts🙂
May the King of Kings who is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, reign in our lives, through our thoughts, words and by our actions❤🙏🏾. This choir along with the musicians were amazing🙏🏾
All praise for the talent and discipline it took to achieve this performance. It takes nothing away from that to add that they have a cultural advantage: the vigorously and clearly articulated English that comes out of West African speakers. Had he been alive to hear this, Handel would have been over the moon.
Outstanding performance. 👏👏👏
You should have been invited to the King Charles' coronation. Beautiful rendition. Thumbs up 👍 👌
What a fantastic rendition...brought tears to my eyes!
Bravo HCG!
Fabulous achievement!
It would be bad of me to single out specifics but that won't stop me...
1. The radiant joy on the faces of the Sopranos and Altos
2. The precision and articulation of the Tenors and Basses particularly in the semi-quaver runs.
3. The super tone and accuracy of the trumpeters.
4. The overall sense of drama and engagement
5. The strong enthusiasm and clarity transmitted to the entire ensemble by the conductor.
Lots more I could say but I've already said too much so I'll stop.
THANK YOU SO MUCH &
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS
GOD BLESS GHANA🇬🇭
GOD BLESS THE COMMONWEALTH
GOD SAVE THE KING🇬🇧
Bravo!
Wow! You guys should have been invited to perform at the coronation ❤
INDEED! An opportunity missed!! I'm calling the palace now!!
Agreed. More Commonwealth input would have added that something extra special
no
@@1066pastor it was about tradition, not about race baited BS to calm down the SJW. neither about being extra or special. get a grip
No they too good for that palace mess
Awesome, well done 🇬🇭 brothers and sisters!
An outstanding interpretation of Zadok! Those 'runs' were flawless!! Simply breathtaking.
This is such a magnificent performance that I can’t help but weep in joy whenever I hear it.
I think Handel would be absolutely delighted by this exemplary performance of his work. Well done! As an American, the coronation isn't of particular importance to me, but this is glorious music and should be performed frequently.
1727 was a long, long time ago. I’m sure that GF Handel would have marveled at these musicians of Ghana nearly 300 years later!
I wholeheartedly agree.
As you are an American, no one else gives a poop what you think.
Go boil s burger
They should perform it for their king, the Asantehene of the Ashanti Kingdom.
Thank you so much for your wonderful rendition of a world masterpiece, love from the UK 🇬🇧 🙏 ❤️
WHAT A PERFECT PERFORMANCE the tenors run is so difficult but was rendered with such aplomb all voices in the runs were outstanding this is the first time I have heard the choir and what a wonderful introduction the trumpets all instruments were just beautiful to listen to. Thank you angel voices ❤
Africa is saving the Church.
The diction present is uncommonly good. The runs were superb.
I agree with Sylvester Oboira in that this has to be a standout rendition of this magnificent work. I am particularly awed by how clean the melismas were. To do that was not an easy task. Kudos to everyone involved !
🔥🔥🔥 💕
I haven't heard powerful crisp precise choral work like that in decades,. The crispness and precision first caught my attention with the coral opening at 1;43, again at 3:30s and at each Amen chorus that followed, this is an extraordinarily high standard. well done everybody,. greetings from Australia / John
This was simply fantastic! It goes to show that God’s music goes beyond race. Whoever is with God will be blessed with the joy and beauty of real music.
Very beautiful and inspiring. I am a professional opera singer and I know the amazing effort you all have put into this performance to make it a musical delight.
A wonderful performance. Through YT, we have a great opportunity to watch and listen to great performances such as this one.
Amazing voices, Matured accompanists on the piano, by ear only one would think it is a full orchestra performing, All details of the song well captured from beginning till end. Excellent rendition Brothers and sisters ... Love from Nigeria ❤❤
❤🇮🇹🙏🏻
usually electronic keyboards sound horrible when playing organ and violin sounds, but they sounded very good here
Vocals are flawless..
The musicians are truly pros.
Great rendition
A fantastic rendition of this classic piece (props to the tenors, beautiful warm tone throughout) - much love from UK ❤❤
Isn't there a way to like something twice? 🥰🥰🥰. So beautiful
Puissant et majestueux, ce choeur est magnifique !!!!
Whaaaaattttt❗❗❗HC you guys are the best.. God bless you all abundantly 🙏🙏
Brilliant, just brilliant. Well done. Thank you! Cheers from Canada
Wow!!!. I have heard Zadok the Priest sang by other Choir's but Harmonious Chorale this is superb. Excellent. You never disappoint.
I heard Zadok The Priest sang at today's Coronation and I said why wasn't Harmonious Chorale invited to sing it. God bless you for blessing us with your beautiful singing.
FR
What makes this rendition particularly powerful is that you can really hear the words being sung. A credit to your country and to this song! Thank you. 🙏
Agreed
Black excellence.... Utmost.
I saw/heard this choir at a concert last year [broadcast on RUclips] and they were fabulous. So glad I have been able to listen to them again, truly a great choir and proof that numbers aren't everything. The keyboard players are possibly even more talented than the singers in that they have the hardest job of all managing to sound like a full orchestra. So glad I found this recording.
Im absolutely amazed at how they make so few people sound like many, many, more.
If you close your eyes it sounds like there's a an entire orchestra, and a full choir behind them.
Amazing and they have very beautiful voices
Microphones and they are individually very talented.
That's very true.
Wow! Wow!! Wow!!! Accompaniments, Diction, Articulation, Harmony. I accompanied singing of Zadok the Priest on the Organ for the first time in November 1997. This one blows me away. ❤❤❤
I love it one off the best version I've ever heard and I'm a Brit respect
True. The performance is exquisite and the trumpeter is just wow🌠✨✨✨
Seriously, I wonder if there would ever be a stronger version. This chorale is ordained in heaven and instituted on earth
I know right? Utterly blown away by the quality of the voices. I’ve sang this piece before with a choir I considered to be top quality and we had nothing on these performers. That first note was soooo worth the wait of the long introduction.
I totally agree with you. That dark deep sound of the men was most amazing.
Jesus... youre not joking
@@kevinbush4300 I have being singing in choirs be it in North America.the caribbean.europe and Australia. And this is by far the best I have witnessed. This is the standard.then everything comes after. . Truly African and suburb
Seriously?
Nice performance.
First time l heard a Choir in Ghana singing this song was St.Peters Cathedral Choir in Kumasi (35 years ago) Hurry Hurry Harmonious.
I waited a decade for this song to be performed by the Choir!😅 Finally😍 Exquisite is an understatement!! Whew...love love love it!!!
Goosebumps all over my body. What a performance!!! God bless you all
Me too. All over!
😳Wow, just exquisite! So much musical talent must exist around the world but we don't hear about it until an event like the Coronation brings it to our attention. Thank you from 🇨🇦!
1:42 is where the magic starts . The piano was so soothing and amazing keep it up
I"m so delighted about all of these talented singers from this small African country to sing one of my favorite classic song. Wonderful singers with their instruments/trumpets, etc and the way they did it; bravo to all of them.
Superb! Vivat Rex Carolus! Vivat Regina Camilla!
That's Ghana for you! 😊
African people always do good at this kind of thing.
Was that amazing and fantastic or what! So beautiful
WOW!!!! And I am a retired former cathedral choirmaster and organist and professional string performer and teacher. YOU GUYS ARE GREAT! FIRST RATE AND AWESOME!!!!!!
Ooooh I'm a Rwandan and I like catholic music very much so you guys make me feel good by hearing your beautiful voice. Long live and prosper
Chills! Just chills and more chills!!
Good job! Beautiful voices!❤
Harmonious chorale! Harmonious chorale! Harmonious chorale! How many times did i call you ❤️.. I mean what should we do you ? Whaaaat... the best version ever on RUclips 😍 👌
True....you hear them well
They're indeed very good.
The whole RUclips? Really?
You could really be proud of you... It's impressive !!!
It's for sure a new era of classical music in Africa.. Let's keep working fellow musicians 🤛
Great performance! I could even understand the words!
Rejoicing in Christian love with you from Tennessee, United States!
Such a joy! Such excellence in singing, playing, trumpeting, conducting. Such perfect diction. Such choral discipline. God, Handel, King Charles III will all join in celebratory cheers. ❤
This was about King Solomon not Charles 3.
Wunderbar,alles in allem grandios!😊
This what we call heavenly. Glorious and outstanding performance
Incredible performance!!!
O boy! Is there any better rendition of this classic than this? Surreally beautiful.
I must say l love these performances of Handels masterpieces by this group of muscians and singers from Ghana The choirs sound was MAGNIFICENT many thanks
Beautiful! One of the nicest renditions I’ve heard. The choir was so clear and the words spoken with such beautiful annunciation.
Wow!! Hallelujah! Amen ! Brilliant singing, angelic voices, good sound perfect music director, you are all smart and blessed. God Save the King! Long Live the King! Praying that the King Charles 111 will be kind, loving, generous, faithful, a man of integrity and self control. May he continue to live and follow his mum’s footsteps. Thank you choir. I’m blessed by your act. Stay blessed too and keep on singing. God is with you.❤❤❤
Amazing A Powerful performance of a much loved anthem. HCG are my favourite choir on RUclips. I hope King Charles III gets the opportunity to watch and listen.
WOW.....................How can people sing so beautifully it amazes me
I love great choral music, this is among the best I have ever heard!
So nice to be exposed to the positive parts of Ghana. Often we have stereotypes that are false. Absolutely wonderful. Some states in Africa Ghana Nigeria very conservative. Love to see and hear more. Thank you for a wonderful performance. ❤🇺🇸
This is one of my favourite Chorale pieces.
It was strong and the diction was so clear.
The synthesis orchestra was fantastic.
Loved it ❤️
Sometimes the tools used to select videos just get it right! When I saw the title, my heart skipped a beat. With the first notes from the accompanists tears of joy welled up in my eyes and the joy built higher with the choirs perfection! Mr. Armaah, I will be looking for your choir’s name frequently.
always good at what you do, I doff my hat to you HC, splendid.
Wow they sounded beautiful and majestic! And all the women have such beautiful skin!!!!
things of true beauty are indeed transcendent...... magnificent performance!
Beautiful singing and playing ladies and gents!! You all sound fantastic. 👏🏻🤩👍🏻💖
HC🔥💯🥳🥳🥳🥳mind blowing performance ❤
This is a delight in so many respects - the musicianship, the colors, the beautiful faces of the performers, and yes, Mr. Handel's genius. God bless you all, and best wishes from Washington DC USA. 💛💛💛
Tears of joy hearing this. Always loved the intro before the voices sing. God bless you Harmonious Chorale.
I cry also when I hear this!
@@I.AM.JUPITER beautiful isn't it?
@@kofib3 it touches and and makes me feel
Imagine that music being performed in the traditional town of Chillingbourne.
I always knew that any song HC touches turns to gold. What a rendition
Thank you so very much. You should all be proud of yourselves, such talent dedication and hardwork produced a gemstone.
wow!!! I am amazed of they had used the Yamaha Keyboard in Orchestra..they had maximized it..knowing that the model of Yamahas that they have are not on primiere model..Yamaha really have a great strings...and this is amazing..Block People and Afraican people have a really strong diaphragm and when they are trained for choir and or voice culture, it will really sounds amazing..you are a heaven sent Ghana Chorale!!!more songs please...big love from Oman
The choirs' voices were splendid. I've never seen the words before, thanks for adding.
The lyrics are:
ZADOKKK THE PRIEST!
and Nathan the prophet,
Anointed Solomon King,
And all the people rejoiced
Rejoiced
And all the people rejoiced
Rejoiced
Rejoiced
Rejoiced
Rejoiced
Rejoiced
And all the people Rejoiced
Rejoiced
Rejoiced and said.....
GOD SAVE THE KING
LONG LIVE THE KING
GOD SAVE THE KING
May he live forever
Aleuya

Amen........
All memorized! Great performance.
Wow... I don't even have the words to describe this splendid performance. I've listened to many versions of this on youtube and they sounded so alike. Well done 😊
God really bless you all for speaking the gospel through music
