If they had brought back Mega-Evolution for this remake, it would have been cool if the gym leaders had given you a mega-stone for all of their signature Pokémon, since I think all of them have Pokémon on their teams that can Mega-Evolve (or they could have been given Pokémon that could.) But since Mega-Evolution isn't a thing anymore apparently, I think the next best thing for sure would have been more TMs. Like the stickers feel like the League cards from SwSh, not super helpful but nice to have, I guess.
Candice is really annoying her mamoswine near took my mid lvl 80 team out! It was her using double team that really got me down she’s probably the toughest I battled it was fun as well I definitely want to battle her again

You also have to have discovered every pokemon in the sinnoh dex, then go to rowan to unlock the national dex, then you have to talk to dawn/Lucas after that the gym leaders will have rematches

the game gets DRAMATICALLY unplayable after the pokemon league. i've already rage quit like 3-4 times. the rock gym is impossible. buddy uses a recoil move but has an ability that bypasses the recoil like IN WHAT WORLD IS THIS FAIR? It goes from challenging to, lets see if we can make our players cry!

Serebii is a great resource. You can’t get Jirachi without save data from Sword/Shield
