SO WONDERFUL AS ALWAYS, MAESTRO!!!!! Thank you for this Recital and for an excellent performance👏👏👏🎶🎶🎶🎉🎉🎉👍👍👍🌹🌹🌹✨✨✨💖💖💖, congratulations for over 32800 subscribers to your great channel, you deserve more and more.., I've added this video to my old public playlists called "My Favourite Classical Music" and "Mr Grzegorz Niemczuk", again my best regards, have a nice relaxing Sunday/happy new week, Joanna.
I first found out about this concert one week beforehand when I looked up your channel to rewatch your Ballade No 1 video. And instantly it caught my attention because I was about to move to Zurich the weekend before it and start university the day before the concert. Of course I had to come see you play some of Chopin's most beautiful pieces in person after seeing a lot of your videos online. As expected the whole experience was great. To call it a magnificent recital would not do justice to the way you inspired the audience with your playing. And not only the fantastic playing but also the background information you gave us about Chopin, his current position in life and the history behind it all and the sense of calm you radiate while doing this is just inspiring. I just wanted to use this opportunity to say a huge thank you for the work you are doing since I wasn't able to talk to you after the recital. You together with Chopin are one of my key inspirations for learning to play the piano on my own. And while I have only reached the level to which I can comfortably play easy Chopin pieces, I am always trying my best to improve. I would be very thankful if next year you came to Zurich again and would give me the same opportunity to experience such a beautiful evening again, best regards and all the best for your next recitals Tudor
Thank you so much for these words! Yes I'm coming to Zurich next year, September the 12th and I hope you will be there! Late Chopin's Mastepieces. I really appreciate your words and the fact you took an effort to write such a beautiful, public comment. All the best!
My favorite performance of the Revolutionary Etude is still one from Richter because it the music fits perfectly in one of his core strengths, the ability to play certain music right on the edge of seeming to fly out of control. How is Richter viewed by the Czech piano community? Despite being one of the great Soviet era pianists, he made a large number of trips to Prague.
@@gregniemczuk I meant Polish. My point was that he seems to have had a special relationship with Prague and the only recital I know of in Poland was a Scriabin focused concert.
@@sunareekaewnat8837 Richter played here many times even in my hometown, Bielsko Biała. I admire him very much and I used to listen to every single recording of his.
Greg the way you play the final chords of the Revolutionary Etude makes me feel like you shortchange the final three notes of Prelude No. 24. Was any piano composer actually notating ffff passages in the first half of the 19th century?
Yes!!! I have to!! It's not so far, I can go there by car from my home. We'll see, maybe next year. Dobry wieczór! Sala wielkością zbliżona do sali Lubrańskiego.. Może uda się taki sam instrument zorganizować? Chętnie posłucham, tym razem w pierwszym rzędzie, nie balkon. Już niedługo 😊

Bravo.❤
