I love country but I can't follow everything. I love this classic song and I was hoping to find a rocking version of it. I'm so happy now that I've found this and I'll keep this cover among my all-time favorites.
Buck Owens is one of the all time greatest country singers but he recorded this cover 25 years after it was originally recorded. While he did a great job, the best version I ever heard was by Al Dean and the All-stars.
The big blonde maple guitar with the Maton pickguard looks like the old HG100 jumbos that Maton built in the mid 1950s. Elvis Presley played, or pretended to play, a Maton HG100 in the movie Jailhouse Rock, 1957. I presume Maton is building jumbos again at their factory in Box Hill Victoria . I also liked the song & the singer but I always look at the quality of the guitars first.
Sums up my life 😂🙏🤠 Billy Thorpe does a great versiin also
Great song even better with adam singing
