Mecalac is the Swiss Army knife of equipment. I run the red 8MCR from Global Sac, I can switch from mulching, to logging, to trenching, to road building. You helped me make the decision to go with the Mecalac vs anything else. I have been able to bid and get jobs that a skid steer or standard excavator can not do.
I'm glad you asked LOL. I have no time in any of them, I'm just an engineer/gear-head type. I thought the Mecalac was a great choice for what you are doing. It's a 3 piece boom, not 2, and built heavier. It will lift more, and is more compact. Also more maneuverable in tighter areas. Because it is better balanced w/3 pc. boom, more stable on grades. It can also be used under a canopy, trees, power lines etc. Then folded up, and the blade used in small/tighter areas and on grades. If that makes any sense. 8) --gary
Nice equipment all the way around..I've been watching some videos from the U.K. and the new kubota kx085-5..They will be coming state side in June or July.
I’m thinking of buying an eight MCR from the same place, but they did not seem to have any packages of accessories? Maybe a promotional offer, or am I missing something lol
I run a case cx75 with a mulching head on it. I would love to see how the mecalac runs a head, I think it would be good for it. Edit: I found the video going to watch it now

Great glad to have seen you use trade and improve through quite a while.
Of the two the Mecalac for the track speed and reduced form factor for forest maneuvers. The Tak was a nice setup though....

Things might be different now when they order machines.
Have you checked out other grapples for the engcon?
Come on man, one trip! That's the Tiltrotator way, haha.
I believe the mecalac would be my favorite.

Do you have an opinion on the bobcat t86 and bobcat e60? Serious question…thanks!
I have never been a fan of bobcat. They are a little behind in performance and cooling
👍🏻. I’ve always been a Deere guy but that’s just me.
Lol. There is no worse company to support than Deere.
@@anymanusa sounds like a personal opinion
When's the Engcon going on the Mecalac?
I’m not sure I’ll ad one to the mec. It does really well with a Forrestry jobs as it is
Both are cool
I see 1 reason why your track speed is faster on the yellow machine. The drive sprocket is much larger.
Yup and a lot more rpm
Hell ya Brother
Caterpillar
Mec is faster and out lifts a 310
Let's see the fae eat on the mec
I posted a video a few months ago. Mec rips with the fae. Feels like double the useable power and all boom functions aren’t slowed down with get on.
