Once you get used to crossing your eyes to look at these, it's hard to tell whether or not you're actually crosseyed because it feels so natural and relaxed.
Agreed! The only way I could tell I was cross-eyed while looking at the photos was by occasionally seeing the watermark in the lower right hand corner of the screen and seeing two of them when I knew there was only one.
I can see these in 2 ways. One when they "pop out", and one when they are negative image of that (parallel VS crosseyed basically; these were made with parallel in mind). Crosseyed (negative) is waay sharper for me and I can look around freely without losing the image. And it's also very easy and reliable, though the parallel is better overall.
🤔 Interesting... For some reason (I think is "distance"), I can only see them in "negative" on my TV hanging on the wall, with a very sharp effect, as being at the 3D cinema, and "normally" on my cellphone, as if the screen has depth vs "popping out" from the TV.
I wonder if this has to do with our eye shapes, astigmatism or simply because we see near things more often than far away thing, for me is hard to make them pop out but seeing the concave ones is easy.
@@Sun_Simpthat is actually interesting, it only took me a few minutes to get the “popping out” parallel one the first time i saw a stereogram, but i only learned about the crosseye method after reading this comment and it took me a while to get.

Guys I can never seem to understand stereograms? All i can see is static and I’ve tried everything
Method 1 focus behind target - place something behind monitor 30cm/feet and you can see it. Focus your eyes on it for few seconds and swing your eye focus to stereogram. If you don’t see depth in stereogram swing your eyes and focus behind monitor. Repeat it again and try stay focused behind monitor - 2 second behind monitor, 1 second on stereogram.
Method 2 de-focus your eyes - Move your head very near to stereogram image, just few centimeters/inches. Your eyes can’t focus for this distance. Try stay focused to distance and slowly move your head back. In distance about 30 cm/11 inches you can start to see depth of stereogram.
If you can't see it, probably you may see cross eye stereograms. This stereograms are for parallel view.
