Robotic vial packaging system

This flexible packing line is able to be quickly reconfigured to pack a variety of vial sizes into trays, divided trays and cartons. Using two ABB IRB 120 robots, one prepares the trays or cartons while the other robot picks the vials.
The star wheel in-feed system will include printing and verification on the rim of the vial.
Reconfiguring the line takes less than 10 minutes making this system perfect for short-run production operations.
