नारा “जय जवान जय किसान” का विकास और महत्व:
नारा “जय जवान जय किसान” (सैनिक को सलाम, किसान को सलाम) भारत के मौलिक स्तंभों - रक्षा और कृषि - का सार दर्शाता है। यह एक स्पष्ट आह्वान के रूप में कार्य करता है, जो राष्ट्र की संप्रभुता, सुरक्षा और आजीविका सुनिश्चित करने में सैनिकों और किसानों के महत्व को रेखांकित करता है|
विकास:
1)ऐतिहासिक संदर्भ:
“जय जवान जय किसान” नारा भारत के दूसरे प्रधानमंत्री, लाल बहादुर शास्त्री, ने 1965 में दिया था।
यह समय कई महत्वपूर्ण चुनौतियों से भरा हुआ था: भारत पाकिस्तान के साथ युद्ध के दौर से गुजर रहा था (एक दशक में दूसरा युद्ध) और साथ ही खाद्य संकट से जूझ रहा था।
2)युद्ध और रक्षा:
राष्ट्र की सीमाओं की रक्षा में भारतीय सशस्त्र बलों के बलिदानों को पहचानते हुए, शास्त्री ने सैनिकों के मनोबल को बढ़ाने का प्रयास किया।

3)कृषि और खाद्य सुरक्षा:
घरेलू मोर्चे पर, भारत खाद्य आयात पर भारी निर्भर था और खाद्य सुरक्षा की स्थिति चिंताजनक थी।
नारे का “जय किसान” भाग खाद्य उत्पादन में आत्मनिर्भरता प्राप्त करने में किसानों की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका को उजागर करता है।
