Total balance, 400hp to 500hp will likely make the car harder to control and hinder the conering ability of the car. This is especially true with the grip-to-weight ratio regulation, where you are only allowed wider tires if you have a heavier car. Adding a turbo will of course add a little bit of weight to the 86, but definitetly not enough to warrant fitting wider tires to the car. So you could imagine how having 400hp or 500hp with the same skinny tires as when the car had 200hp will be pretty detrimental to the handling of the car lol. So 300hp is like a sweet spot in terms of horsepower all things considered.
400-500 hp is for grip driving! And like the earlier guy said the balance of 86 will be torn to pieces. Kanata is using drift driving 300 HP is the standard for that.
