I ordered a wandini and i am struggling to balance it on the instructions it says the side with the logo is the bottom but my wand gravitites and balances better with the logo up any tips? More videos if possible
🤔 That's strange! The bottom will be whichever end gravitated down, but I haven't gotten to play with one of the wandinis yet. Maybe you have the piece with the logo snapped into the wrong side? That could be it.
Hey! You should have a swivel on the string that will help a little bit wotu twisting. They aren't full-proof, but they help ease it a bit. Other than that, I recommend really getting used to spinning circles in both directions. That will help unwind the twist too. So, drill spinning ten circles clockwise then ten circles counterclockwise and sort of just try to incorporate doing both in your flows and that'll balance it out too. Don't be afraid to stop and untwist quick when you're learning. 😍 I hope that helps a little!
hi.. guess i'm the first to drop a comment, so thank you... i'm an illusionist looking for dance moves to accompany my dancing cane routine but all i can find are techniques tutorials....
I don't know why I am just seeing this. For me, I learned all of the technique first and then grooving and dance just kind of fell naturally as I got better with the wand as my partner. For dance tips with the wand, I would check out ruclips.net/channel/UCsXmAQ4VBeTLN--mVXTDhTA
It shouldn't quite rest totally upright, or it would hit the string. Depending on the weight of the wand it should rest around the 1 o'clock to 2 position. If it's wonky when you're actually spinning it, make sure you're not accidently grazing your clothes or soemthing. There are certain wands that also are known for not the best balance. So it could totally be the wand and not you. What do you have?
@@rileyminte3644 Yeahhhhh, that's the one. I don't want to hate on the wand, but just be a bit careful with it because it does tend to snap easier than others and it probably isn't the best balanced and it's not you. You can sort of spin and try to compensate for it, but it'll never be perfect. At least once you get a balanced wand then you'll be like a pro!! 😍
@@rileyminte3644 Awe! Well, keep spinning it and keep practicing for now. You'll still get better at it! I frequently giveaway wands on Instagram. @derpgear
Thank you so much - great info. This has been so helpful!
Awe yay! Happy to help!! 😍 🙏

I'm a beginner, what brand do you use?
hi my problem is that the strong eventually twists and the twists build up and it kinda effects the way I move the wand. How do I prevent that?
