in Canada there is also something called outdoors mall. It's an area with a large parking lot in the center, surrounded by a bunch of buildings all of different stores of the same category, example: A ton of different grocery stores or clothing stores. The idea is to prevent someone from establishing a monopoly from being the only store of its kind in the area, thus forcing everyone to lower their prices to keep up with the competition. It may be the reason shopping malls in Canada never died like in America. Also, indoor malls are great in winter when its freezing outide.
Why you put West Edmonton Mall second is beyond me. It's North America's largest Mall and there is so much to do there. In W.EM you can go see Sea Lions, go to an indoor water park, then go to an indoor amusment park, play mini golf, go to the movies. Literally it takes at least 2 days to see all of W.EM
I went to cf rideau center but its a bit too big for me, i prefer medium size malls with just 2 levels such as the St-Laurent mall in Ottawa and the Orléans mall in Orléans.
I have been to west Edmonton mall and it was the best I did not do much shopping but I went to galecsy land the theme park in the mall and it was so fun
Yorkdale. If you want a selection of top tier goods, shop there. The rest is...meh. If you've been shopping in Las Vegas' Crystals mall and shopping in the golden triangle in Beverly Hills, you'd know that the only thing remotely close is Yorkdale. They even closed Van Cleef and Arpels in Las Vegas and opened on in Yorkdale. The rest of the crap is for kids. If you want to buy luxury items and not drive all over the place, Yorkdale is it. The discount malls with brands are all full of discount mall luxury products. All the Coach, MK, and the like are made for discount mall garbage with cheap leathers, cheap linings, cheap zippers and will most likely fail in short order.
Which is your favorite Mall to visit in Canada?

Place Laurier Québec city
Devonshire mall is my favorite. I live in America and in2001 I visited Devonshire. It's a beautiful mall in Windsor Ontario.
West Ed mall has so much more to do than Eaton Centre. There is a 4 level New York themed go kart place now, mini golf, an entire theme park and more
It's called top 10 best malls not top 10 biggest malls understand the difference
@@TorontoLifeByRyhe listed activities not square metre. So aggressive for no reason
