Here's what the newspaper says in full:
TITANIC CREW QUIT AFTER FINDING OUT 'LIFEBOATS' ARE MADE OF CAKE MIXTURE
17 members of the crew of the new gigantic vessel RMS Titanic walked out yesterday following a series of revelations regarding poor safety. Not only were the lifeboats found out to be essentially edible items, but lifejackets were discovered to be particularly buoyant dogs, and the ship's 'safety alarm' was uncovered as being a small boy shouting from inside a pipe. The former captain said "i didn't feel comfortable. In a away I should have known something wasn't right when the ship sank when it was technically still in the factory, on land, which shouldn't be possible. There were more warning signs as we tested her out, like the seatbelts being pieces of string and the head of safety being a massive drunk. At one point we nearly sank during in testing. I asked the head of safety what we should do and he suggested improving weight distribution by altering the arrangement of the deckchairs, which is a bit like doing something futile in the face of impending catastrophe. Anyway my crew members and I have had enough, and are quitting." Titanic officials are hoping to save on costs by promoting remaining crew members internally, and there are rumours that the ship's cabaret star will be the new chief of navigation.
