Absolutely wonderful, thank you very much for sharing your adventures. We are no longer in Largs but now on the river Orwell in Suffolk with our Hanse 385 . One day we will return to beautiful Scotland.

Followed your passage on Marine Traffic app. Very interesting to see the voyage.
Large is an awesome Marina. Doing my Coastal Yachtmaster there with Scotsail in August. Will try to look out for Sula.
    Thanks for sharing Murray.

We’re native Floridians cruising this season in Scotland for the first time, after previous years in the Caribbean, USA Atlantic Seaboard and Chesapeake Bay, and the Med.
This has been generally a wonderful cruising ground this summer between the Firth of Clyde and the Inner and Outer Hebrides. Spectacular scenery. A great mix of remote anchorages and quaint marinas. Abundant marine and terrestrial wildlife. Pristine water. Mostly comfortable air temps, and only a few gray and rainy days. Our only lament is water temps between 58-63°F, which makes recreational or fitness swimming a pipe dream. Otherwise, we give Scotland a hearty YES!
