We grow all of our herbs for both eating and medicinal purposes as well as hunt, fish and forage. We preserve our produce for the year ahead by canning, dehydrating, fermenting and freezing and we work on being prepared for emergency situations. We don't like plastic, chemicals and artificial fragrances and are trying to live an older style life, balanced with this modern world lifestyle.

I have done this recipe and it turned out nice.
Thanks for sharing. Job is going well. I missed it today as the road wasn't clear of snow the time we were supposed to leave for her shift. It may have been cleared in time to get to my shift but Mom had me call off as well.
hi lady that is awsome , i remember i was cooking a authentic curry 1 night and chopped up a scotch bonnet and garlic then had to take a leak pardon the pun , well jesus christ i had to dip my you know what in a cold glass of water for 20 mins even after i scrubbed my hands i itched my nose and that started burning as well is the another remedy apart from gloves as i hate the feel of them, kind regards mike.
Once I pickle my chillies, can I just remove them, cut them and use them for cooking as normal ? Or would this make my dish ‘vinegary’ ?
Thanks for any one that can answer… 🙏
Does cooking the chilis and then water bathing them make them mushy??
No they don’t go mushy if they are fresh chillies and cooked the recommended times.
@@MoatCottage Thank you very much for responding to my question, it was very kind of you.
