I was teaching a kids' cooking class and guess what I said???? "I'm gonna scrapy scrapy my big containy!" Oh yes, it came out of my mouth before I knew it was happening.....lmao Bless you!
@@NailArtMom it was on the disney channel. younger kids under 10-12 might not appreciate the full story, but its definitely perfectly fine for kids. i had fun watching it as a kid before i understood it!
Katie, there's going to be a stopmotion Over the Garden Wall special done by Aardman Animation (who did Wallace and Gromit)! It's not coming out until November though :(
This soap bar reminds me of like a retro cowboy look for some reason!!! Like I feel if you tweaked the colors and added a lasso or something it would give total retro cowboy!
I just want to say I've been a follower of this channel for years. And I always found it therapeutic, Katie you have such a lovely authentic demeanour. I haven't watched in a long time, but it's now I'm going through a lot, a really HUGE lot right now, that I'm returning. Your channel is the safest, calmest, most reliable thing I could think of returning to in a very troubled time. Thank you, your authenticity and homeliness has value far beyond the realm of soap making. Sending love from a sleepy village in England after a long day with my Dad in hospital. X
My fall TV watch is ALWAYS Over The Garden Wall. A short series you can finish in 2 nights about 2 brothers lost in the woods, trying to find their way home.
So, I had an idea for a fun montage video ... clips of all the times Katie says that she's obsessed by something! ♥ This is a beautiful soap, and the gold on top was the perfect touch.
This soap is absolutely gorgeous. As an autumn girly who was born in October, I am in LOVE with the design and the colors. Plus I admire the time and dedication you put into this.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who can’t get into Gilmore girls. I can only handle it for so long then I’m over it. I thought I was literally the only person who felt that way.
I thought I was the only one as well! I loved the first few episodes because I thought they were going a completely different direction. Then it was just... nope. 😅
Kudos to the fan who came up with the OG design. Edit: I think covering the whole top randomly with leaves (like those succulent soaps) would also look great and like a fall forest floor 🍁
I remember this was one of the first bars I bought from you when you first made it. This gave me flashbacks to when I used it in college. It had such a warm scent and was so pretty to look at!
Hilda (on Netflix) is a really wonderful and imaginative world! It's based on graphic novels (also definitely worth a read!). It's animated and sooo lovely. Definitely a favourite!
I think it would also look cool if you put the leaves all over top like the succulent soap to look like leaves on the ground. But still LOVE this soap so pretty
Katie PLEASE make a cranberry fig (maybe with a little Sandalwood/santal notes to make it ✨️fancy✨️) soap with that GORGEOUS queen Kathryn/spicy tomato color mixture and that bronze mica on top! That would be my PERFECT fall soap and I think all of the fruity santal fans would love it! I'm thinking like Forbidden Fig vibes like the candle from Voluspa... please consider making it I would buy the whole slab 😩👏🏼
I’ve never heard someone feel that way about Gilmore Girls except me! I’m so glad I’m not the only one! My sisters love that show but I just can’t. I can watch maybe one or two episodes with them but I don’t really enjoy it.
If you get a chance to remake your embed stencil I would recommend that you make the outer frame just large enough to slip over the mold so that the wires sit on the lip of the soap mold. This might help a little with alignment because it puts the top of the soap closer to the stencil and would stop the stencil from twisting if bumped. Hope this helps.
For anime fans, I think the anime Mushi-shi is great for fall. While it does take place throughout all of the seasons, the theme of dealing with supernatural creatures with a show that's not super linear so you can skip around makes it a nice anime to relax to (though I do recommend watching it in order the first time so that you get an understanding of the world of the anime). As it's my favorite anime, I rewatch it almost every year, usually alternating one season each year (season 1 is what I'm rewatching this year).
I really enjoy Charmed for fall. The one with Alyssa Milano, Shannen Doherty and Holly Marie Combs. So good. Ive honestly rewatched it probably at least 8 times since i was a preteen 😅 took me a bit to be truly excited for fall because i dont enjoy the cold much but either extreme of hot or cold i dont do well in so... 🤷🏼♀️ Lol. But fall has more fun things to do, decor, food etc so.... I do enjoy it that way. Thanks for sharing!
I also make soap and I know how hard it can be and also know how colors can morph, fragrance can react differently, humidity can change things. So I appreciate other soap makers and their work.
Here are shows I really like: The Chosen, McCleod’s Daughters, Cranford and Return to Cranford, and Lark Rise to Candleford. Also, there is a book series I’ve been listening to by Emily Brightwell that you might enjoy. It’s the Mrs. Jeffries mystery series and they are in the cozy mystery genre.
these are so beautiful, love all the layers, love the gold added to the top I bet they smell amazing ;^; I hope I cam get some soap from you again soon
Katie, beautiful soap as usual, I have purchased the frosting kit (not used it yet) it is well worth the money ❤ May I ask, do you mix your colors with oil or water? Also, just love this color palette ❤
Falling Leaves is perfect for this beautiful soap. Im starting to get my business off the ground. Any advice? I know that youve been doing this for a long time. I have several products that I will be showcasing. But, I was wondering about the amount of inventory that I need before marketing, how/where to market, any ideas are welcome. Thanks!
If you hold some kind of vibrating device in your left hand with the tea strainer you won't have to tap it the whole time and you can get a really easy and fast mica line.
Is there a reason for not making a big batch of the same layer color pour it in several moulds (in this case 5). Then prep an entire container with the next color add it to all the moulds and so on. Working one layer at a time so that the consistency doesn't run away from you? Then Maybe mix up a smaller batch for the last layer to have time to place the imbeds? Especially with fragrance oils that misbehave? Also wouldn't one of those four dusters (also used for powdered sugar in baking) help with the Mica layers? It's like a container with a sieve bottom and a handle with a mechanism that distributes the powder evenly?
I know you have seen Over the Garden Wall but have you seen Hilda? I love it and it's a little fall-esque. I hope you make another OtGW soap. My all time favorite is the one you made with the little strawhat embed.
Try stranger things if you liked/like it! I had to try a couple times before sticking to it I love the show it’s amazing. I think it fits fall well, it’s horror, and now it’s spooky month!
I was teaching a kids' cooking class and guess what I said???? "I'm gonna scrapy scrapy my big containy!" Oh yes, it came out of my mouth before I knew it was happening.....lmao Bless you!
😂 I LOVE IT!
😂😂😂
😅I say everyone I make my own soaps and of course due to the royal academy❤
I do it all the time ❤
Awesome
'Over the Garden Wall' and 'Gravity Falls' are good if you like kid's cartoons that don't talk down to kids. Both have nice Halloween vibes
I think she did a soapseries about over the garden wall
I don’t think these are kids series. Maybe teen. But gravity falls is not for kids imo
@@NailArtMom it was on the disney channel. younger kids under 10-12 might not appreciate the full story, but its definitely perfectly fine for kids. i had fun watching it as a kid before i understood it!
I was about to recommend the same shows 😂
I re-watched Over The Garden Wall a few days ago! I will have to put Gravity Falls on my watch list, thanks!
I love the Anne of Green Gables movies with Megan Follows 💜💜
Katie, there's going to be a stopmotion Over the Garden Wall special done by Aardman Animation (who did Wallace and Gromit)! It's not coming out until November though :(
Daaamn that's gonna be great!
Spaghetti for hair. Spaghetti for hair. Spaghetti for hair. I never want to be sticky with maple syrup. He didn't even have to finish the question.
Hard same.
This soap bar reminds me of like a retro cowboy look for some reason!!! Like I feel if you tweaked the colors and added a lasso or something it would give total retro cowboy!
The Anne of Green Gables (the one with Megan Fellows) would be a good Autumn series to watch 😉 (I haven't been able to get through "Anne with an E" 🙃)
Parks and Rec always make me feel fall feels, especially the episodes leading up to the Harvest Festival.
Ooh. It looks like an Arizona sunset inside!
I just want to say I've been a follower of this channel for years. And I always found it therapeutic, Katie you have such a lovely authentic demeanour.

Once Upon A Time is my fall show! It goes a little off the rails in season 5 but it's great up to then
This soap is absolutely gorgeous. As an autumn girly who was born in October, I am in LOVE with the design and the colors. Plus I admire the time and dedication you put into this.
Shaun the Sheep is always cozy especially in the fall. There are collections of the fall/Halloween ones that are super cute.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who can’t get into Gilmore girls. I can only handle it for so long then I’m over it. I thought I was literally the only person who felt that way.
Definitely not just you!
If there is one sure thing in this planet: than that no one is ever the only one
I cannot stand how much of a Pick Me Rory Gilmore is. Instantly gets on my nerves.
I thought I was the only one as well! I loved the first few episodes because I thought they were going a completely different direction. Then it was just... nope. 😅
Same!
It made me giggle when I saw "Happy Fall, Y'all" in a store recently. Everyone picks on the South until we have a cute or good idea. 🤣
Kudos to the fan who came up with the OG design.
Edit: I think covering the whole top randomly with leaves (like those succulent soaps) would also look great and like a fall forest floor 🍁
The good witch is always a fall fav of mine
Love how the tapping swirled the top of the soap! 🤣
Love to see an in-real time video, unedited from start to finish!
I like Ghost Whisperer and Warehouse 13 for fall viewing.
I introduced my mom to Poldark. She loved Aidan Turner's shirtless scenes.
Don't we all 👀 😂
I think you would love Anne with an E, it's absolutely an autumn watch !!!
Wait....how long did it take to make the soap?
These colors look absolutely delicious! This is one soap that I would have to constantly remind myself not to lick the spatula😂
I think it would also look cool if you put the leaves all over top like the succulent soap to look like leaves on the ground. But still LOVE this soap so pretty

Wow, I'm speechless. It's SO pretty.
I’ve never heard someone feel that way about Gilmore Girls except me! I’m so glad I’m not the only one! My sisters love that show but I just can’t. I can watch maybe one or two episodes with them but I don’t really enjoy it.
This soap is so gosh darn pretty!! If I hadn't stocked up on a bunch of soaps from you last month I would totally be making an order!
The Hobbit and LotRs is always my fall go to.....good omens is brilliant....also Reacher with Alan Ritchson
Father brown Mysteries.
Father Brown is so good!
This soap is truly beautiful! So cosy and elegant.
If you get a chance to remake your embed stencil I would recommend that you make the outer frame just large enough to slip over the mold so that the wires sit on the lip of the soap mold. Spaghetti for hair! I love Spaghetti like whenever I'm hungry just eat my hair! I know it's dumb but he did it

Absolutely Beautiful!
Maple syrup for swear would be amazing!!! X
Love it. A perfect fall leaf sweater!
this is the definition of a thanksgiving bar! The exact colors of the turkeys we used to make as kids hahah
This soap is SO PRETTY! I am really excited for this scent, too
They look absolutely fabulous 👌
Syrup sweat would mean that you would attract swarms of insects at any given time
I think a dark green would look awesome on top!
Woodland magic for its title
My favorite part is when you cut the soap and the 2 sample pieces, I just love it
, You are very fun to watch
I also make soap and I know how hard it can be and also know how colors can morph, fragrance can react differently, humidity can change things. So I appreciate other soap makers and their work.
I just finished watching the series Heartland on Netflix and loved it
Spaghetti hair ! ❤ And gorgeous soap
I looove these! I haven't tried more than 2 layers yet, but I will get there.
I recommend "the good witch" movies and then TV series in Hallmark.
How long did it take to make The soap?
these are so beautiful, love all the layers, love the gold added to the top
I bet they smell amazing ;^; I hope I cam get some soap from you again soon
Just in time for relaxation night! ❤
Those mica lines rock these colors out!
I just love this soap, I'm so excited for fall!!
Oh that is REALLY pretty. Now I'm tempted.
That is a beautiful bar. I love it.
This was one of my favorite designs when you first made it and I still love it 😍
If you've never seen the show, Sleepy Hollow, it's a good one, and it feels very fall to me. Just fall vibes 🍁
Happy fall baby girl your soo funny I love the video and tell hubby as well
I love frosting
I was a Canadian I already sweat maple syrup
Katie, beautiful soap as usual, I have purchased the frosting kit (not used it yet) it is well worth the money ❤ May I ask, do you mix your colors with oil or water? Also, just love this color palette ❤
I love when you do these long soups
Soap suggestion: brown layer, with a green/brown mica line and sunset colors...desert landscape.
Gorgeous gold!
Sooooo pretty!!
How long did the soap take in total?? 🍁🍂🍁
Falling Leaves is perfect for this beautiful soap. Im starting to get my business off the ground. Any advice? I know that youve been doing this for a long time. Outlander, Lucifer, Sabrina....those are my go to watches, not necessarily for fall,
Praying for Katie!
Try watching the sweet magnolias. It is a great show
That’s a beaut Clark!!
Name suggestion: Deciduous Dreams
Omg I love it
If you hold some kind of vibrating device in your left hand with the tea strainer you won't have to tap it the whole time and you can get a really easy and fast mica line.
This is a thanksgiving looking soap.
This is very pretty. Do you ever do reaction videos anymore with you reacting to viral soap videos?
Since it's akin to falling maple leaves, you could call it Maple Shower ❤
My fall show is Outlander
Call it "Fall, Ya'll"
I saw Someone else suggest the name ‘Fall Yall’ and I love That
I don't love the yellow but as it gets lighter i think it will look nice ❤

I'm going to make an autumnal soap for the fall collection.... It's either autumn or it's fall, surely it can't be both....lmao
I know you have seen Over the Garden Wall but have you seen Hilda? I love it and it's a little fall-esque. I hope you make another OtGW soap. My all time favorite is the one you made with the little strawhat embed.
Where do you get your soap molds?
I recognized those buckets as my grandma had the red one from dollar tree
Fall [rewatch] recommendations : Charmed (original) show, Buffy the Vampire slayer show, an Practical Magic (movie).
Spaghetti for hair I couldn’t stand being sticky!
Try stranger things if you liked/like it! I had to try a couple times before sticking to it I love the show it’s amazing. I think it fits fall well, it’s horror, and now it’s spooky month!
Have you tried the US version of Ghosts? I love it
You should check out the good witch, it's a wonderful show m.
“Worth it every time” 🤣
