    I live less than 15 minutes away from Park City in Coalville Utah. It's great because we can enjoy all the perks and beauty of Park City without the expensive housing costs. Park City really is an amazing place!

      Amen to that! Coalville is a lovely little town as well though. Just not as much to do for the average tourist

    Bravo, this video gives a well created look at PC in the summer. There is a local saying that goes: "People come here for the skiing, but then move here because of the summers." PC is a beautiful, friendly town with lots to do - especially in the summer time.

    Park City is pretty amazing year round, but theres nothing wrong with going in the winter time!! Some of the best slopes around!

      Couldn't agree with you for Ashley and Todd. My travel channel focuses on traveling on a budget and hitting the slopes generally isn't cheap. Totally worth it, just pretty pricey

      I would agree that Park City has some of the best skiing in the world. I love hitting the slopes myself. If you are looking for an inexpensive vacation though a skiing holiday in Park City does not fit that docket

    Parking is not free anywhere.

    • @TravelingOnaShoestring
      @TravelingOnaShoestring  6 лет назад

      I would disagree. If you are willing to park at one of the parks and walk or take public transit parking is very free. Plus they have free parking just off of main street about a block away.

      I have only had to pay for parking once and that was due to Sundance film festival

    Park city is only booming because of that Trolly system Cryptocurrency millionares can get drunk and spend there crypto money with out care in the world, Beauty of a town by the way,

      Very interesting perspective. Admittedly every time I go I wonder, "dang, what does one have to do to actually live here."
      It is a very expensive area as you know and had gotten even more so in the past 3 years. What you wrote regarding the sudden wealthy off of crypto currencies makes sense.

      @@TravelingOnaShoestring Seems logical. One pf my customers in Ft. Lauderdale sells Porsches; and said hes sold more cars in two years to kids under 21 than he has ever in 30 years. No loans

    What can I expect from park City in the middle of November? Both weather wise and things to do. Looking for a anniversary getaway from Miami. Thanks!

      @TravelingOnaShoestring  6 лет назад

      You can expect snow. It may not be snowy by then but most likely will be. Bring the warmest clothes you have. I have a friend here in Utah who just moved from Florida and she is dying from our cooler temperatures.
      Plan on exploring main street and going skiing. Both great things to do in the area. My favorite resort is Park City Resort but my husband is partial to Canyons

      @ivan how was your visit? I am going next week from Miami as well, hoping to see snow for the first time in our lives... going on a budget with my 3 kids (pre-teens).
