As an Infinia Enthusiast, this card seems good to me. I have 7 lakh limit on my DCB card with last 6 months spending around 6.5 lakh. Applied to DCB Metal via email upgrade & it’s approved. What are the chances of getting an enhanced limit on the new card?

Most spends are not on accelerated rewards, just retail, school fees and insurance spends. Considering i can achieve 40000 additional rewards for the quarterly bonus and not having too many spends on accelerated rewards, should i get the diners metal or infinia (both of which i have got approved for)? My hdfc representative asked me to spend 6+ lakhs in 6 months for me to be upgraded to Infinia If I am not able to get Infinia I am thinking of getting DCB, but is it good enough??

As you are aware, the joining fee for infinia is 12.5k + GST and incase we are not meeting 3 lakh transaction criteria within 90 days, joining fee needs to be paid. Is it true that entire 12500 reward points will be credited to the account ( which ideally means that we end up paying just the GST ) or is there some other criteria which will decide how many reward points will be credited ?
Could not follow the conversation clearly as you keep on using "this" card, which one are you referring ? Also, comparison chart could have helped as well
You should get a preapproved offer for an upgrade. Just wait it out or while renewal ask them for a metal variant. Coz ideally PVC is discontinued, ideally after a certain point if you request for a block and replace greater chances are you get a metal version.
Is rent transaction through third party apps considered for quarterly milestone and 8L fee waver criteria? As far as I know rent transactions are not considered for rewards but I’m unsure of milestone benefits.

Axis Atlas has a complicated rewards structure to get full benefit of the program and works efficiently only if you’re well-read about Miles Transfer Program.
Rather than just speaking in the air, make some ppt template or something and try to explain in nice manner. You are just in front of camera and speaking speaking. I think I can extract more rewards from dcb metal rather than infinia as a spending of 15-20 lakh annually.
