2023 Youth Tour

What is Youth Tour? Butler Rural Electric Cooperative sends cooperative member students to Washington D.C. for one week with 2,100 other cooperative students from across the nation as part of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association's (NRECA) Youth Tour. In 2023, 36 Ohio delegates attended the week-long trip, to meet with elected officials, tour monuments and memorials, and learn how electric cooperatives formed in America.
The future of our cooperatives rest with the youth who live on the lines now, and Butler Rural Electric Cooperative is committed to enriching the lives of cooperative youth to further the cooperative business model and principles for generations to come.
