Skip using the hair dryer. Recent studies have shown that hotel hair dryers are often full of bacteria since they can only be wiped down on the outside. Just a heads up. Enjoy your staycation! You've more than earned it for sure
Very true. Also never use the hand dryers in the bathrooms for the same reason.

So sorry Amy. U r an inspiration to me as I'm also a chronic illness warrior. I'm in the hospital right now and just want to give up. I'm so sick of all of this. I have epilepsy with uncontrolled seizures and diabetes, gastroperesis and heart issues. I have an internal heart monitor under my skin too that sends my heart rate to my doctor 24/7. I would like to s9tzrt a chronic illness support group. Anyone interested????

I have to go in for infusion and the IV messed up and the iron stained under my skin so one of my arms it sort of tan. When asked I just joke "It's self tanner gone wrong" or say "I could only afford to spend one limb on holiday" Awwwww Poms! I have a Pom lol she is "Princess Chai Chai Sassy Pants" heheheheheeh* Lovely hotel hope your trip is fun! :)

How do u go after your iron iv? First time I had mine I got a day of nausea and shaking, but second time was ok.
Lol....you were right in the first place, Aussies call them Eskys, doesnt matter what brand they are, just like Poms call vacuums hoovers no matter what brand they are.
I felt better the same day as having my I infusion I don't remember the 1st one I had

Iron hurts so bad when I have to get them in IV form, it’s so thick and it hurts so bad, I can’t stand it
I’ve been feeling so tired for weeks now. They did blood tests, and everything was fine. They all keep saying that is is mental (depression). I’ve had depression and anxiety for years, and I’ve never felt like this. It’s so frustrating. I have so much to do, but no energy to do any of it. It’s not like I don’t want to do them. I want to do them, but I just can’t bring myself to do it most of the time 😔 I guess I’ll just wait for it to go away eventually.
Hope you start feeling better remember you can get a second opinion just to check things if you really feel like they aren’t right. I hope you figure it out ❤️

I don’t know what bloods they have tested but I would ask for all your hormone and vitamins to be tested! Things like Vit D, Vit K, electrolytes etc because some of those are not standard blood tests and if your deficient in any of them it can cause fatigue and other symptoms xxx

(TW sickness, blood) Hey, with my implant it was sore for a couple of weeks, i have a slight reaction to it every now and then which my doctor monitors, as like you it’s my last option before the coil as everything else has caused bad side effects and osteopenia. So keep an eye on it! Also to add, I’m having a tonne of issues with dismobility in my stomach, was very sick the night before last and ended up in A&E as I threw up blood 😞 we think it may be gastroparesis as 9hrs after food I’m throwing it up whole...I don’t suppose you have any advice for people still waiting for a diagnosis? Or perhaps any information of how your gastroparesis first presented itself and when they wanted to investigate it? I’m in the UK so as you know it’ll be probably half a year before I get tests. Sending you both love! 💖💖

Valley Girl thank you, luckily my GP is amazing, it’s just all of the cuts to the NHS which is making referrals hard 😞 I’m going to see her on Monday and ask for a liquid diet for the time being so it doesn’t keep happening! I’m doing a degree in vocals so being on voice rest because of a torn oesophagus is a no! 💖

Amy , I’m getting my gastric bypass on Halloween . I’m so nervous . How do you deal with multiple surgeries
Háłłïē B I cant speak for her personally but I have had 35 surgeries in my life. The best advice I can give is don’t be afraid to ask your doctor any and all questions you have before surgery. Stay OFF google. And if after surgery you aren’t sure if something is normal or not don’t be afraid to ask. That’s what the doctor is there for.
If you drink alcohol can you get drunk?
Will you and Tom have dogs when you move?
When you get your house built, will both dogs come to live with you?

She has other prescription medications for reactions so I’m guessing probably use them. But I’m not really sure lol
