That fight is on RUclips, and I can't understand why people disregard Russell spitting or getting his mouthpiece knocked out 3X in three rounds. When was the last time you saw it happen, and how did things turn out for the fighter? 😂 It's an old amateur trick of buying time when you've been hurt or tired.
And Boots hit Gary with cleaner shots over three rounds than I've seen him land as a pro. If they had on 8oz, we might not even know Gary as a top prospect/contender today.

Gary A Russell is nice , the fight we seen in the trials was a good jawn . I think the fight coulda went either way Gary Russell got more points in but I feel like boots showed more of a pro style . Cleaner Shots for sure

@@TylerHingleton they didn’t wear head gear when they fought, the fight is on RUclips. Russell was moving boots back when they were younger. Russell got stronger too but strength isn’t the end all be all in fights. I got boots beating Russell, boots can box and fight. Boots is one of my favorite fighters but I’m an honest person and anything can happen in a fight, I would favor boots based on the length, jab, better foot speed and hand speed but boots ass will get in the pocket when he don’t have too and give Russell his chances.
@@lmoney420 Like I said before, he not muscling Boots around in that squared circle today, and the latter has been so accustomed to fighting pressure fighters, and even makes it a point to beat them at their own game. He isn't the boxer Boots is, and disagree he has better footwork, since Boots is much lighter on his feet alone, while handspeed is almost equal. Plus, Boots got a sturdy chin, which is why I also favor him being inside the pocket, when he takes his chances.
Gary antuanne ain’t nowhere close to a slouch I think he the best of the brothers an that whole family got them hands.
