lsx nah it’s probably just the backing is too loud. I know his voice is still recovering from the filthy frank stuff but when he can hit the high notes and doesn’t need the backing anymore I’ll love the live performance even more.
@@mystonia6507 Actually, a lot of artists, especially pop and hip hop artists, use loud vocal backing tracks. Most of the time, pop vocals are overproduced to the point where the singer can't replicate the power and fullness when performing. But yeah he probably did fuck his throat up doing frank's voice.

CM96 ever tried metal screaming with vocal fry? That basically what he did except without projection as the sound he produces is his vocal cord slapping together for hours on end. Of course he isn’t the best singer in the world but that and smoking are definitely not good on the voice.
