    You explain things very well. Currently, I work as a Data Analyst, primarily focusing on building reports and cleaning data most of the time. I'm struggling with the poor quality of data my company collects and stores. And YES, I am determined to acquire new skills to transition into a role as an Analytic Engineer.

    You're a wonderful teacher and thank you for the enlightening and easy-to-follow content on Fabric so far. With your videos and the skool community I'm not as scared to take the DP-600 certification exam and become an Analytics Engineer 😅(I'm a DA). Great work and I look forward to more content on Fabric!

    I think Ive always been a Data Anlaytics eng, I enjoy the process of data cleaning ,valdiatiations and modeling way more than creating visuals.
    Im already on microsoft learn for the DP 600, but the real challenge is we should master the syntax of py spark and T-SQL for the test.

    Transitioning from BI to DS was hard for me hard, from DS to DE another level of complexity but more manageable, now you are talking about data strategy roles, could you please elaborate more on that? Thanks

    • @LearnMicrosoftFabric
      @LearnMicrosoftFabric  Месяц назад

      Yeh BI to DS is hard, hopefully I tried to be honest about that in the video 😂 Sure, data strategy (for me at least) was mainly building strategies for how to solve business problems with data (and then implementing those strategies as well). In that role it was mostly solution architecture: designing and building ETL pipelines, database tables/ views, and also had a bit of a say in the Power BI side as well (as a PBI report normally formed part of the solutions). It was fun!

    great video! What kind of skills should one work on to transition into analytical engineering and do you think that getting a Masters in DS would be helpful (as you mentioned your path was for becoming a data scientist)?

    • @LearnMicrosoftFabric
      @LearnMicrosoftFabric  9 дней назад

      I think the DP-600 exam will give you a general appreciation for the types of skills you might need as an analytics engineer.
      Masters in DS helpful for some skills, but if you're goal is Analytics Engineer, it's not necessary

    Our company has implemented Power BI as frontend BI Tool. We now implement Databricks on Azure as Dataplatform instead of choosing Fabric.
    What are your thoughts about Databricks? Is Fabric mature enouth for large companies?

      @LearnMicrosoftFabric  Месяц назад

      Hey there, it depends what features you need really, some are still in public preview. Best thing to do is use the trial to test it out for the type of workloads you’re going to be running on it 👍
