Fortuner is Made in Indonesia there's long history behind it since Toyota Indonesia Collaboration and Manufacturing since 1970 started as legendary Toyota Kijang.
Toyota Kijang later reborn as Toyota Innova/Venturer and Toyota Hilux/Fortuner.
2022 only has exported 2 Million Units Toyota Fortuner to Australia Only. And many other units to around the world.

Toyota should change the design complelely.they should find great ingeneers for New design .
All the Toyota designs are ugly and boring ...although their cars are reliable .e.g Toyota fortuner should compete with Toureg Volgzwagen and Grand Cherokee jeep with great design ....
