I was baptized during the Easter services and recieved the gift of the holy spirit..had recieved Christ long before then,I had been praying to God for a physical touch of the holy spirit and desperately so. A few month ago I had a dream where I thought the holy spirit was taking over my body,it felt uncomfortable and a bit offish like I was being electricuted and suffocating. I woke up,ignored the dream and continued with life.But my love for the things of God was slowly disappearing. I prayed about it and God put it into my heart to rebuke the spirit that entered me in the dream and to ask the holy spirit to replace it and I did. So last week Sunday I was watching Apostle's live service but fell asleep with the t.v still on.When He was making an alter call for those that wanted to recieve Christ I could hear him with the physical ear and it was though I'm in a dream.I lifted my hands up and the Holy spirit took over me and I woke up. So as I was watching this particular service and the Apostle said he feels a string presence of the Holy spirit,I lifted my hands and asked for the Holy spirit to take control. What followed after were goosebumps all over my body. It felt like I was being electrocuted and I could not move for a good second,I was in shock and felt like running but my limbs were numb. All I could do was cry and praise God.😢 I'm still in disbelief,like it was all in my head. Praise be to the most High God.
Dearest Yeshua, I pray you have mercy upon me and blot out all of my iniquities. We were closer than this. I went down my own route questioning your standards and ruling over my life. I pray that I am forgiven and I am uprooted from the deep hole I dug myself into. Please uproot me in put me back on solid land in your guidance love and glory and in your sanctuary. Ordinary man can be used and directed by The Holy Spirit. I didn't know that because the church i was with made it seem its only for preachers, priests and naturally (men) anointed men/women of God. But God ever so faithful took me through a journey through the baptism of The Holy Spirit, now i know that God speaks, and He is so merciful and can speak to anyone as He pleases, just needs a willing heart that loves him.
