This is the 4th episode from Dave Allen's 1993 show on ITV, which aside from the 1994 Christmas special in the same theme and design as this show, sadly marked his final stand up work.
His final work also represented some of his best work, being as controversial as ever.
In this episode Dave talks about the journey from birth through childhood and the strange behaviours of parents. In the second half he talks about growing up in Ireland and his aunties that used to come over on a Tuesday and play bridge, with his virgin dog Foxy that humped his aunt Cissy's leg.

And didn't we do ALL those things as parents... Well of course we did! If we'd had to test the bath water temperature with the most tender flesh available, we would've had to use the baby! Also his mother "cleaning" his face with a handkerchief she'd first spat on, reminds me of how my mother would remove a spot from my face when I was a child... she would lick her index finger and then had a go at me... she had nicotine stains and yellowed nails... it felt to me like my face was dragged across an ash tray!
