Certain people just don’t have as much ambition in life as others, but that doesn’t place them below us. We cannot so easily see others’ ideology of life just by the surface level actions they take in their day to day. But apathy has many sources, and some are pretty flimsy-in which case those who find themselves with that source of indifference should easily be able to overcome it, so long as they put some effort towards that end. If there is a more traumatic event that has led to apathy, it requires a great degree of mental fortitude to overcome it, and necessitates more time to gradually stack positive habits to lead to noticeable improvements. Bad habits are often wrought from a lack of good habits, filling in the empty space.
What age even are you dude? I could've said the same thing about myself at 18, now I'm 28 and life hit me with a bunch of stuff I thought I was prepared for but really wasn't. I'm really starting to realize it's easy to have your 'life together' when you're young, in good health and have all the future to look forward to. But I've learned it's naïve and arrogant to think you can keep everything under control, because life can always throw something from an unexpected angle. Most people have their own stuff to deal with and are just trying to make it through life, and I've no doubt you'll one day have stuff happen to you that'll wear you down and you'll realize that you're just another human being

Thinking this way can lead to a superiority complex… which is counterproductive to your development.
@@wPleasur3 For sure that’s why I love to practice looking back at where I used to be at in life. Thank you for pointing that out
