Completly right. I sometimes use the remembrance of one of those early sessions when practicing self-hypnosis when I'm stressed and it works pretty well
What a great start to your day. Beautiful location. I bet in fall it would look "absolutely stunning", I'm sure Thomas Heaton would agree. Great video.
This series of vlogs that you have just finished are your best to date, also your images that you captured are probably the best you have ever taken, so that must give you enormous satisfaction.
What a lovely morning! Glad you got your camera out again at the end, as the shot at 12:52 was my favorite. And I see your geese friends showed up to see you off. (Hope Sophie's feeling better.)
What a beautiful morning Kim! I love mornings like that - quiet, calm, just heaven. I really liked the side on image of the boat, it looked almost graphic in quality (if that makes sense?!) what I mean is that it was so simple yet very affective in showing the scene. Great stuff!
Looks such a nice place not only for photography but also just to pause and appreciate the peacefulness. Hope your friend Sophie is "back on horse again" soon, so to speak
Morning Kim, what great start to Sunday morning sitting watching your latest vlog with a cup of coffee and enjoying that beautiful location of Lough Tay and the very relaxed approach you took in presenting it with music that fitted the mood Again one cant irritate enough what an ambassador you are for Scotland The photography was stunning.
Morning Kim, what a lovely start to Sunday morning! Really loving Loch Tay in all its glory , beautiful location. How tranquil & gorgeous it was just after sunrise with those reflections & light 😚 Looking forward to the drive through Glen Coe......
Good morning from southwestern Utah. Your video is a great way to start my day. I hope the trip has not been too rough on Sofie and she has a quick recovery.
Lovely video and images Kim, like a peaceful meditation. Recently discovered your channel just as I decided to take up landscape photography on reaching my 60 th birthday. Thank you for all the inspiration your travels and amazing images are providing. I'm lucky enough to live in the Scottish Highlands and I'm having fun and seeing my home in a whole new light through my camera. Thank you Kim.
Morgan Norma Roche Thank you very much and good luck with your photographic journey! It's a wonderful hobby to take up, especially when living in such a beautiful part of the world.
Thanks for this morning walk! Early mornings are something special anywhere you are. Only a few days ago, I walked through Venice at 5 in the morning and it was a completely different place, with very few and only local people around (and a couple doing wedding shots).
Really good video Kim and I thought the images you got were great, the light looked good that morning and what a wonderful place. Hope your friend has recovered.
Thanks Kim... You are fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the world... Holiday weekend here in the states... Lovely photographs too! All you need after this is a hot cup of coffee & a bacon butty... Bill Farr, Vermont, USA... :-)
Setting off at 10am for 7 days of photography in and around Loch Lomond and will be visiting many of the places. You’ve shown in your vlog so thanks for sharing
Memories of last years trip canoeing Day1. Loch Tay to Dundee. Loch was just a reflextion of the Mtns. Still, peaceful full of birdsong. Thanks for the video.
That was awesome Kim I say u need to do some awesome prints with your photography or do prints and booklet of the photography u take and maybe us your subscribers can buy them that'll be awesome.
Hi Kim. Great video. Looks so peaceful and tranquil. Looking forward to the next one too in Glencoe as that is truly jaw-dropping beautiful. I noticed the vlog was entitled Mastering Depth of Field. Was sort of expecting chat on aperture, focus stacking etc. But there was no mention at all about depth of field. Just a comment. Keep up the good work. Been subscribed ever since I stumbled on your vlog from Flodda Falls which I’d been to almost at the same time.
ThePeteW by depth of field I was talking about the importance of foreground, middle ground and background to add depth to your image and make it look 3D and more realistic ☺ thanks for your kind words.
What a wonderful video Kim! I really enjoyed the videography as well as the nice photos that you were able to take. Please tell Sophie hello and that I'm so sorry to hear about her accident. I hope she starts to feel better soon and perhaps we will see her in future videos. Marvin
Kim Grant Kim I'm one of those photographers that just cannot get up early in the morning to go take pictures. I mostly shoot sunsets. Thank you for your wonderful reply! Marvin
